I'm afraid the ony way to take away their money they would REALLY understand is illegal in most places.

but this rarely/never happens, EA and others know fully well that their customerbase is either dumb or have short memories and still buy 1 or more of their newer "must have" releases after saying they would never buy their products ever again.

Good God man.  Jessica is just trying to keep us informed.  She has nothing to do with fixing these problems and was just showing us a really cute picture to bide the time.....kinda like this thread is doing.  You need to f****ing chill.  I'm pissed off too and my stocks went down $5K today but I must admit that picture made me smile.

Again, we all need to chill - especially at the people who are just trying to keep us informed because otherwise, we still wouldn't even know they acknowledged a problem.

Not helpful. As others have said, repair doesn't work. Offline mode ahoy!  But hey!  Their aware of it.  Has there been a single op weekend that didn't get fubar'd?

Of course it is, it's a copy&paste answer they simply ctrl+c->ctrl+v into their messager. You can easily tell because when they do type manually, they tend to take ages (not implying anything here, just empirical observation).

tbh i dread to think what red tape bioware/ea have to go through with each other, does bioware sit helpless until their evil overlords/masters make a decision or can they freely set in motion any fixes/repairs themselves.

i can understand the delays if theres back and forth managerial spiel to sort out before anything can be done, its just that all the crippling issues seem to be EA server related for a bioware game at first glance.

Well, I just got through checking my game and it was able to get on to the EA servers fine. However, since I had this exact same problem about a month ago, I'm going to be keeping an eye on it. I've already seen one person who had this happen around the time I did, and it happened to him again just yesterday. I'm glad they are finally taking a serious look into it though!

@Jess, thanks for keeping everyone updated. If you see this and you don't mind, if this isn't resolved before the weekend, could you drop by this thread again with an update? Even if it's just a "we're still looking into it", at least we'll know that you guys are still monitoring this thread.

Edit:  And yes, mine was a PC (N7 Collector's Edition, physical disk)

For ppl that wants to play the SP just going off line mode doesn't really work ( at least for me), I have to disconnect from the Internet completely for it to work.

from what i've heard you need to go into offline mode and turn off the upload game data thing too (inside me3)

Even though I'm having the online pass error for multiplayer, I can play my single player with no issues (I don't have to go into offline mode).
