Can i ask something a friend of mine at night school informed me that EA was voted Americas worst company if this is true then the problems being encountered here is understandable

That actually is true. They're even worse than Walmart.

But remember, like the honcho from EA said, it's only because Halliburton wasn't in the running.  Because being better than Halliburton is, you know, a high bar to clear.

...I'm going to admit I don't even know what Halliburton is. Never heard of them.

But needless to say, this is going to be my last EA game, especially if it requires Origin.

KBR/Halliburton is Dick Cheney's company, they supply american soldiers in Iraq & Afghanistan with everything they need, and I do mean EVERYTHING (they primarily profited from the Wars, not the american public).

"Raghav:

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. Currently we're running with some temporary problem with the game that's why you're facing this problem. Please have some more patience and this would be resolved in couple of hrs. This concern has already been informed to our engineer's and they're working on the fix."

This was followed by the scripted response of repairing your ME3 game!

Halliburton was that oil company bush and cheney were in bed with.

*holds breath and closes eyes*
*takes a peak and sees if Diablo III is out yet*
*keeps breath held*
*takes another peak for Guild Wars 2*
*passes out*

Next time can you guys please break your sh#@ after D3 or GW2 comes out? Thank you for your consideration and I apologize as I am a gamer myself. Please be patient as I refuse to give you any additional money for your games.

They are an oilfield service company. You have no idea what you are talking about.

My bad! They really did screw up big time!

Looks like they really blew up every mass relays this time. I saw that coming.

This is becoming absurd. What are these people doing? This is not the sort of an error that is difficult to track down in code. It's right there in your face, and an hour with the debugger should identify the source of the problem. It should not be that hard to either fix or develop a temporary workaround. I don't get it...

Still no fix or even an ETA.

I am severely disappointed. It seems almost as if someone is deliberately going out of his/her way to alienate the very fanbase that secures his/her income.

Since when is that news with EA ?

I know ... sadly. Just wanted to emphasize it once more, lest newcomers haven't picked up on it yet.

Operation BLACKOUT May 02-??

When it comes to retrieving classified data, Cerberus has been beating the allied forces to the punch. But when it comes to technical issues, no one does it better than EA.

EA Goal: Kill 1,000,000 User Accounts
Bioware Goal: Survive until extraction on any hostile forum thread on Gold difficulty.

Successful completion of the EA Goal will grant all players Stockholm Syndrome.
Successful completion of the Bioware goal awards standard bi-weekly PayCheck Packs to all staff mates.

Operation Blackout will run from 12:00AM PST, Thursday May 02nd until ?:?? PST, [Date to be determined] [Month to be determined]. Blackout will be available to majority of PC Xbox 360 AND PS3. Please remember to redeem your “Online Pass Code” when prompted to do so to be able to participate in Operation Blackout.

Good luck and see you on the battlefield.

Thank you so much for the good laugh my friend!! it was so in need of it :)

I have no problem(Pc player), but I do feel sorry for those who still can't play. Most my friends are locked out, so i guess I won't be playing anyway... Don't want to play with 3 randoms.
Hope they fix it soon. Getting really bored with this=/

Seriously... Could not they just roll back everything and cancelled the whole Pack giving? I can play without the darn packs.

Managing packs is beyond Bioware skills. Just have the game working normally and hell with the packs...

First Command and Conquer, and now my retreat to Bioware leaves me blue balled over an apparent "EA Sync" issue, I think I must of "Sin"-ed much to link myself to this evil corporation again.

We should at least get something of value from this; chances are I'll end up unlocking the multiplayer in my newly founded packs.

>.<

Cannot wait...

Yes, he does know what he is talking about.  Read the entire Wiki file as apparently you only read the first sentence.  Also, Cheney once served on the board and then while in government awarded them no-bid contracts that have been under heavy investigation.  They are even connected to the Deepwater Horizon accident in the Gulf.

There probably isn't a more corrupt company than Halliburton.

Yeah same here.  Been contacting EA support all day.  I think this must have something to do with EA banning hackers.  By all means, ban the frickin hackers, but just not everyone, please!  Some of us are getting impatient...

Yeah that is about as useful as "We are working on a solution to fossil fuel" or "We are working on a solution to global warming".

That isn't news, it's a brush off.

It smells to me like it is "Origin BETA" getting in the way. I am quite sure that if the game was not dependent upon some thrid-rate Steam competitor, that we would not have this issue.

it's more useful than them not saying anything at all, at least you know they are trying to get it fixed.
