We should have a contest on guessing how long the downtime will be after the next operation. Since there's been problems after every single operation that's given out rewards. And they've been getting worse.

Maybe next time we won't even get Tuesday night in between the Monday - early Tuesday and Wed - Fri issues.

Well, I am now being to think that one reason they decided to put the Operations every other weekend was they realized the downtime problems are only getting worse, and wanted to give themselves more time to fix them.  Next time, probably 8-10 days.  In another month or two, they'll announce Operations once a month to give themselves 2+ weeks for downtime issues after each one.

What are you even talking about. I clearly stated all my times as est, realizing she was in PST. She sent the msg out around 7pst, meaning 10est for me. She said at night or morning it would be fixed, so if it is fixed by morning lets say anywhere between 5am-8am PST, then by early morning I should be good to go.

Also for the record, before you talk about my education with school, prehaps you should of learned a few things as well. The part I bolded for instance, a comma does exist you know, not to mention the way you worded it. How about this instead: Probably not before at least 7am PST, which is 10am EST.

Out of curiosity, I just followed the Purchase Online Pass button on the error page. I wanted to see what would happen (if anything).

I got an error message informing me that I needed an online pass. Apparently an online pass is a prerequisite for purchasing an online pass....

considering 2am-10am est is 11pm-7am pst.


7am pst is a conservative guess.

Robotech_Master - if it was just code, they could probably roll back. but if their code FUBARED data, then not so much. This is why good QA is absolutely essential.

EA/ORIGIN can be slammed for one of two things. 1) Having a Crappy QA shop. 2) Not giving a good QA shop enough time to do their job.

The Bioware/EA conundrum is appalling(Origin wreaks of week old cat pee).  The way in which the two companies prioritize their products is the real problem.  How long do they work on the ideas for these weekends, which are pretty pointless, except for the reward packs.  So much time spent on these "operations" to just say go out and play our game, we will give you a few trinkets that will keep you playing our game.  The multiplayer mainfest took time, as well as the creation of so many unique weapons in the game, which most don't get used.  All so that they can have issues with the servers, and keep people from playing while they waste more time fixing the issues.  This begs the question, why put so much time into such drivel, and seeming so little time into creating an ending which was not even near adequate?

their QA is severely understaffed or using foreings who cant understand crap (no offence to indians and thai support guys, but I've had my doze of horrible service from these guys)

Not for me, also in EST. Online Pass still required.

I know I had a Commendation Pack. Saw it in the store ingame but didn't open. Finished the game, closed ME 3 and restarted it so I could get the pack open without losing anything (like the 3 Spectre packs previously)... oops.  Wonder if the game will remember I finally got a Commendation pack if things ever get fixed.
