Had a nice person talking to me and he/she sorted pack issue very fast.
This person is the only good point for EAWare after 3 days of debacle.

What country are you from? Maybe that has something to do with it. Im USA, I got my commendation pack but when I spcifically asked as to whether or not there's going to be or if there is a compensation 'gift pack' I got:

No not really. Why are some people getting gift packs and some aren't? Did they say something specific like rip thier heads off about all the credits they could have earned or is the gift pack related to a different problem? OR maybe it's a country thing because I know a lot of american users are not getting a gift pack as extra. It seems so far that Euro players are getting it or maybe it's just random dumb luck with who you talk to via support.
It just doesn't make sense that some people are getting compensation for the down time and some are not. Unfair. But doesn't suprise me if this is the case.

I got it together with the Commendation pack, after contacting support. Both packs were not in the store for me before I talked to support, and they were afterwards.

if i dont get a commendation pack i probably wont complain about it, but still i want this thing to be fixed 100% so if i get a commendation pack, then i forget this stupid issue....i can at least play the multiplayer again

That's the quickest chat I've ever had with EA support, took all of 30 seconds to connect and two minutes or so to get my commendation pack added.
Important Note: For the Live Chat option to be enabled you may need do the following (I had to, from UK):
1) Go to: https://help.ea.com/contact-us
2) Click the "Log In To Your Account" button and sign in with your Origin email & password
3) Scroll to the bottom of the page, in the bottom right there is a "Country Selector" select United States
4) Product: Mass Effect 3 (choose your edition), Category: Technical Support, Platform: (Plaform)
5) Click the Live Chat button and wait to be connected
Changing the country to United States instead of United Kingdom is what enables the Live Chat option for me.
When you're connected to a support rep, simply explain something along the following:
"Hello, I participated in Operation Exorcist on (platform) and did not receive my commendation pack reward. I appreciate there have been server issues recently and it was mentioned on the BioWare social network that if I spoke with you that it cold be added to my account for me."
They may ask you a few more questions, but a few minutes later you should have your shiny commendation pack.
Got the Hurricane I this time personally, which means the only one I'm missing is the Valiant that I was hoping for.

Don't use the stupid Origin Help at the top of your Origin Beta launcher go to the website. Had my ticket answered in less then 30sec and took the service guy closer to 10mins to open up all the packs.

i tested it and in my opinion is far better than the incisor since it has nearly no recoil...and with a turian the weapon has no recoil...
and its probably better than the raptor as well as the Indra is full auto...
the only issue i have with the Indra is that for a super-rare N7 weapon the damage is pretty bad...they need to fix it soon...it doesnt deserve that rarity...besides that its pretty much a good sniper for soldiers....

Make sure you go to the US version of the site. I canceled my email support ticket and went to the US live chat instead (it's the middle one, the text chat, not the phone support). They gave me a commendation and a gift pack.
