No not really. Why are some people getting gift packs and some aren't? Did they say something specific like rip thier heads off about all the credits they could have earned or is the gift pack related to a different problem? OR maybe it's a country thing because I know a lot of american users are not getting a gift pack as extra. It seems so far that Euro players are getting it or maybe it's just random dumb luck with who you talk to via support.

It just doesn't make sense that some people are getting compensation for the down time and some are not. Unfair. But doesn't suprise me if this is the case.

It's not better than the Raptor because it's full auto. The Raptor does flatout more damage. Per bullet and per second. I don't really want to draw a direct comparison to the Incisor, but atleast that's capable of doing decent damage now, if you can eliminate/handle the recoil. The Indra is just flatout bad. The N7 Eagle is a hell of a lot worse, but it's still bad. Quite sad it seems to be the most commmon ultra rare ever.

That's the quickest chat I've ever had with EA support, took all of 30 seconds to connect and two minutes or so to get my commendation pack added.

Important Note: For the Live Chat option to be enabled you may need do the following (I had to, from UK):
1) Go to: https://help.ea.com/contact-us
2) Click the "Log In To Your Account" button and sign in with your Origin email & password
3) Scroll to the bottom of the page, in the bottom right there is a "Country Selector" select United States
4) Product: Mass Effect 3 (choose your edition), Category: Technical Support, Platform: (Plaform)
5) Click the Live Chat button and wait to be connected

Changing the country to United States instead of United Kingdom is what enables the Live Chat option for me.

When you're connected to a support rep, simply explain something along the following:

"Hello, I participated in Operation Exorcist on (platform) and did not receive my commendation pack reward. I appreciate there have been server issues recently and it was mentioned on the BioWare social network that if I spoke with you that it cold be added to my account for me."

They may ask you a few more questions, but a few minutes later you should have your shiny commendation pack.

Got the Hurricane I this time personally, which means the only one I'm missing is the Valiant that I was hoping for.

Quoting this because this is what needs to be done if you want the pack.

If you are getting the options greyed out, you may have done what I did, or rather, didn't do. You have to put in Mass Effect 3 (and choose your edition) in Product. Otherwise the options stay greyed out

I now feel like a fool. Many thanks to BTCentral (and Amit at EA =P) for the help. =)

wtf!!game just started working after 2-3 days of the online pass problem..i just redeemed my victory pack and it turned out to be total ****..all the contents were normal ones easily attained from a Recruit Pack(cobra missile,medi gel,shotgun rail amp 2 etc) this is bull****

Yea, I'll believe the playerbase before a business. Hopefully they give everyone a giftpack.  Maybe it's just taking time to show up. If not oh well.

Talking with a guy, he first said that there are no gift packs, then he put me on hold for a few minutes. Came back and said they do exist! Just ask them to double-check for you! (politely, of course!)

that's what a victory pack is...you're looking for a commendation pack genius.

i HAVE received victory packs for earlier operations...none were this useless

Ok, just talked to live support, who have asked me to wait for the developers to fix the issue. Seems a whole lack of communication or just divergent levels of CSR experience is working against me.

I got the commendation pack but couldn't get the gift pack. The guy I spoke to said I would definitely get one in a "promotion" though. So either we'll all get them automatically or he wasn't too sure what I was talking about.

Seems pointless now as many people aren't getting any help from this. Besides, waiting time is stuck on 19-15 minutes for me. Not going to waste time on this. I will wait for Bioware to solve this problem with granting packs. If not, I give up and will not participate in multiplayer any more. Getting tired of this bugged crap.

Why is the tread in the PC tech report closed and am i directed to this tread in the MP section?

I do not play MP, i never played MP and i dont WANT to play MP! so i dont read the topics here!

I could not play Single Play because Ashes all over sudden could not be activated and i needed a cerberes acces pass on my PC version ( CE) ! Load save games didnt work! i posted screenshots in the locked topic! ( why is it locked!!!) in the Pc tech support.

I am at work now so i dont know if its possible even to play SP again if i return home.
seems like everyone who bought a CE version and everyone that installed from ashes is hit and load save games and start the game was impossible for 2 days!

And we have to discus about that and look for information in the Multiplay section?
this is Stupid! because it has affected Single play also and you cannot expect that ppl who can not start a SP ore load savegames to come and look around in the MP sections to find information.

So. Game is working once more for me too, but no Commendation Pack automatically. I even played a couple games if it would show up after that but nothing.

Now contacting Live Chat is certainly better than no pack at all, but it's really ruining the spirit of the pack for me. You are supposed to have earned it with gameplay not with a support chat.I doubt they can actually check if you have rigthly earned the pack or not.

The whole support session, waiting in line and waiting for chat replies did take quite a bit longer than winning a Gold match, so you might say it's just as much an achievement…

No Gift Pack for me and I only got N7 Hurricane III… Looks like I'm unable to get anything but the Hurricane from these packs.

I was at a car dealer this morning to get information on a new car.

They tried to sell me a car with an anti theft option. ( because many were stolen)

It works this way: Everytime before i can start the engine and loosen the breaks i have to call a service number first. Then i have to give my name, my birthday, my password and my license plate numbers. If i do that correctly i get an activation code that i have to put in in the board computer of the car. If that all goes well the breaks will be free and the Enigine can be started.

They call it DRM they said its a great way to protect my car to thiefs.

Of corse i did not buy it.

I actually emailed support the first time, and the guy told me to uninstall my game. I emailed back, telling him that didn't make any sense, then a competent support guy replied, saying he "made some necessary changes in my account". Now I can play Mass Effect 3 online again, and I didn't have to uninstall it at all.

Still no commendation pack, but it's something.

Ask support about your lack of a commendation pack and they will add it to your account. it's quick and painless.
