MP works, but the second I go to claim my commendation pack, I lost connection to EA's servers.

They really need to get regional servers, tired of these crappy ones that they have now. I have no issues what so ever with other games and it seems almost every time I want to play it lags or lose connection to matches.

Glad the issue is at least fixed, can at least play with friends.

Same problem since last update. EA live chat will contact me when problem is solved. Still in progress.
I only know that my friend in chile have no problems. mostly here in germany and in UK.

It seems that through the night more and more people (but not all at once) were able to get access to the game again. So it seems they have a fix and just need to implement it for whatever they do their sections in. So for those still unable to get on, I'd say hold off for a little while longer and you should be good. Hopefully...

Mine is now fixed. Took a while, but I opened mp and my commendation pack with a valiant was there for me. No more complaints here.

No not really. Why are some people getting gift packs and some aren't? Did they say something specific like rip thier heads off about all the credits they could have earned or is the gift pack related to a different problem? OR maybe it's a country thing because I know a lot of american users are not getting a gift pack as extra. It seems so far that Euro players are getting it or maybe it's just random dumb luck with who you talk to via support.

It just doesn't make sense that some people are getting compensation for the down time and some are not. Unfair. But doesn't suprise me if this is the case.


I think he got a nice support Person.         


He was lucky, I got a "please wait for the developers to fix your online pass issues, have a nice day bye" kinda guy.

And I guess you are right, politeness do help in cases like that.


Could be right, i was also very polite and didn't ask for the gift pack, just the commendation, i did make sure to subtly mention that i had been locked out of game for a more than a day, maybe thats it, commendation pack not showing up is 1 thing, being unable to play another

looks like it's still broken, that's like 90 hours of no ability to play with my DLCs or multiplayer. They need to at least make the DLCs stop requiring activations every game launch.

I was able to play for a few hours, and then it happened again, right after I tried to buy a premium spectre pack. They must have some recent college grads or high school grads working on the multiplayer and DRM. I can't remember the last time a multiplayer game has had this many bugs, connection problems, and authentication problems.

Oh, about the request for regional servers. I'm a few miles/kilometers away from EA's corporate office, and I've been only able to play 4 hours this entire week. Origin/EA tries hard to be an equal opportunity FAIL across all regions.  The FAIL extends to the worst ending.of any game ever.

I have only just been able to play multiplayer after 3 days, did one gold game then got disconnected, now its back to unable to connect to ea servers. This is getting to be a bad joke. Im in the UK

It would be nice if we could get an update from Bioware, if this is still the issue from the online pass or a whole new issue of people being unable to connect to ea servers (pc uk)

Played the whole week, didn't had any problems before, but now the same trouble.
It appears that the EA servers are down.

Workaround for Single Player:
  • Close the Game.
  • Close Origin.
  • Start Origin.
  • Go to settings.
  • Set Origin to Offline mode.
  • start the game.
If you still have problems, unplug your Internet connection before you start the Game.

Now I'm getting an "uknown error" when trying to start origin and I can't login to my ME3 account or multiplayer manifest on the bioware social.. anyone can help me with this?

No, the servers are obviously down. For MP there is no solution, just waiting.
