Redeem/Purchase online pass WTF?

I get that annoying prompt like every othertime I start up the game on the PS3. It's strange, it only started happening after Earth DLC released. I heard somewhere if I redownload the redeem code it will fix it. Thing is though, I can still play online just fine. I just hit 'cancel' on the redeem prompt thingy and I'm signed in to EA servers ready to play. Its annoying, but least it doesn't keep me from playing. I considered redownloading it, but I figure since it only pops up as an annoyance and doesn't actually hinder me, I probably shouldn't go around messing with it. Might end up making it worst and locking myself out or something. I think maybe it has something to do with the game starting up and trying to log in to EA before the auto sign-in has a chance to log you into PSN. Not entirely sure. Should try to experiment with it sometime by waiting to log in before starting the game and see if I ever experience the prompt again.

Here we go again...another annoying redeem online pass problem!! ME3 Multiplayer is so unpredictable for me. It works, tomorrow it doesn't.

Was able to log in 2 days ago, and now have this redeem issue again. Tried deleting all temporary files as suggested, still no dice

I get the msg that I need to redeem the online pass but it doesn't give me the option to fill it in.

I thought the last patch was to fix this problem.

on xbox when it happends for my friends gamertag i just put redeem code then press the guide button to close the prompt then press OK and it accepts it without entering a code. (Since i already have a unlock code on hdd)

Sometimes I log in and sometimes I get the "redeem code" error. Weird and frustrating.

I recently got this message, asked "WTF?" because I wasn't playing it but a few hours ago, because I've had the game since Day 1 and have never gotten this message.

i have just been asked to enter my online pass code now. i played online last night, now this. i re-entered my online code and it says that it is already in use (no ****, it's mine). i restarted my xbox, and then it said that i had played on another computer with this code or something, but i haven't. what is going on?

Xbox was having issues today. It probably thought you signed onto a different console XD

Clear the system cache
Delete your online pass from the HDD
Go to purchase history
Redownload online pass
Restart Xbox 360
Start up ME3

The Bug is still there. PC from Germany. I dont even get the screen to enter the a Code, just that need one. ;D I actually feel trolled.

Happening to me tonight - can't play for the last 3 hours; I'm in South Africa - PC player. I love the Mass Effect trilogy, and the multiplayer is awesome, but this happens every now and then...and is very frustrating.

It is frustrating being a staunch believer in buying all software legally and things like this hamper the experience....not to sound negative - I still love the game and am grateful for all the effort that has been put into it!

i havent being playing my game since before the extend cuts DLC now im trying to come back even bought the leviathan DLC and my game will not work at any cost, its just say that it cant connect to the EA servers now i cant even make the newest DLCs work for singleplayer! imagine the multiplayer!!

crap, and I went to United States to buy the game only because in my country (Venezuela) is really hard to find good orginal games :crying:

Got it this morning. Quit the game, restarted Origins, bug was gone.

Still annoying.

Some times, on PC, you will need to restart your PC not origin. I haven't seen this problem in a couple months, but sometimes that helped. Sometimes though, it was just the EA servers being absolute crap and I had to wait a couple days and it went away.

At least you're being more proactive and forthcoming for ETA's on issue fixes like this one then your compatriots down in Auston on TOR. They may sound hollow but it's better then getting no imput at all.
