Redeem/Purchase online pass WTF?

I don't know if it has to do with the recent origin update or anything, but I'm locked out of my collector's edition online pass after managing to finish multi-player challenge and then settling in to resume my trek through insanity no-change single player attempt. Probably due to THREE geographic location changes in a short period of time, but one change didn't affect anything, so why would three?
Also, an additional possibility lies in the fact that my Mass Effect Infiltrator attempted server access so that I could offload perfect running the main story for that one. It says I have 3 escapees available and no escapees offloaded to ME3 at the moment. It did offload the basic 50 point asset for clearing the game once though.
EDIT: Additional Note: the 50 point asset was from 9 months ago.

Update on my case. They had to change up something on their end, it seems, but I'm back on multiplayer and ready for the weekend.

Unfortunately I've been incredibly unlucky for my glitch. They're having me go through hundreds of different methods. I swear they know what the problem is, they just want to waste as much of my time as possible. >.<

After having a chat with three different advisors, they now have 'forwarded my case' to their 'Expert Team' .. yeah, sure. Haven't heard from them in over a week and I don't think I will ever hear something, let alone a solution to my problem, from them *sigh*

Meanwhile, I missed two operations and can't play Mass Effect properly .. nor do I want to until they fix my damn game. Maybe I will try to contact them again tomorrow .. maybe if I don't stop pestering them they will finally do their job and help me.

Dont stop "pestering" them. If you stop, they will think that your issue is fixed and they wont do anything else. Like must customer services, if there isnt a fuss then there isnt a problem. We should hold both BioWare and EA accountable for there inabilities of maintaining a descent product and continue to bother both of them until the issues are fixed to our standards.

Yeah, this has happened to me now. I've tried everything to fix it. Emailed and chatted to EA, who didn't help much beyond get me to do a trace route and told me that there aren't online passes for PC. I even tried to Twitter them but they wont answer me. Emailed me3mpaccountadmin@bioware.com, too, hoping they could help.

Can't get past the "Redeem Online Pass" in the menu, but it is connecting to the servers as its authenticating my SP DLC. *sigh*

I wonder if it got broke by EA when they finally did something about my missing BioWare points from May/June? I got a refund of some points added to my account yesterday, and *then* the account broke. :(

This is just awful.

Got in contact with Twitter Help, and apparently it's now sorted. Can't test it for a few hours as I am at work, but fingers crossed.

Just to update everyone who will look at this when/if they get the issue themselves, EA Twitter Support nailed it. It works again. This is what they said they did:

"I redeemed an exact duplicate of the copy of the game you have on your account, creating the Online Pass. ^EX"

For the first time since I bought the game, I got the redeem/purchase online pass bug. Guess I was lucky all these months. So is the twitter support team the way to go? Too bad they won't be on until after Xmas :(

I am facing this issue for the first time myself. I quit the game after not receiving my credits after a match (sigh), restarted and "REDEEM ONLINE PASS" An online pass is required....

I am in chat right now with EA support. If I have success, I will share my story. I hope to not be added to the miserable, as this will actually really blister my buns.

Somewhat happy resolution... If not perfect, but I don't know yet.

I was issued a new online pass by the Advisor, which fixed my redemption issue (no allusion intended), but then a message came up saying that my Collector's Edition entitlements were no longer DLC verified... So, I am going to reboot the PC again and see if that message comes up. Seeing as how I am done with SP unless they do something AWESOME, I guess missing out on the CE entitlements (Hurricane and the crappy others) is not an issue...

They did help me today, I think.

If EA/BioWare tech support ever offer to fix an error by replacing your "Online Pass" code, you will be screwed out of all prior SP and MP DLCs that you have redeemed (and you will have to re-purchase them if you want them).

I had the exact same problem. Lost credits and experience after a match, restarted the game and got the, 'Redeem/Purchase Online Pass' error. Live Chat did re-issue me one and it resolved it for me as well.

Yesterday I completed Weekend Challenge and got my comm pack. Today I can't log in multiplayer. It says I need to redeem online pass.

What the hell happened with my online pass while I was sleeping?



Live chat fixed this issue for me.

i got the redeem online pass glitch yesterday night after completing the weekend challenge.I vontacted the EA support via twitter and 5 minutes later the problem was fixed

Almost seems as every PC player has that problem sooner or later.
Bummer that this isn't fixed after 1 year.
If Origin is the best EA can do they should just surrender and put their games back on Steam again.

This happened to me on last week's challenge. Tried the tweet and support site, but a call to the EA Help desk eventually helped me out within a half-hour. I think it took longer because a few people had a go at it, but the chap I spoke to on EA support was great!

Now this is happening to me. The support site wasn't helpful at all. It told me to re-download my online pass as if it were DLC. Twitter support hours don't include weekends. What the hell do I do?

Go https://help.ea.com/contact-us. Choose your product,(ME3 standard, CE or DD) issue and click on Live Chat button. They will be in touch with you in 5-10 minutes.

Tell them you are experiencing an entitlement issue with the Online Pass for PC.
They will ask your name, e-mail, and answer to your secret question.
You have to close the Origin before their fix can take effect.

Happened to me as well. Support gave me a new code for ME3 and it fixed the problem.

If they insist you to repair the game (they tried with me), just say you already did it.
