The EA support guy I just finished chatting with said I could relay that this is a known issue affecting some folks after picking up Reckoning, and right now the only way to fix things is to talk to EA support over the live chat.

He added that the developers are looking into a general fix, though.

Standard box edition for pc, got this after getting my hands on reckoning. But in my case in redeem/purchase pass, all i can do is to click "ok" dont even have enter code position.

So.... what do you do when Live chat is unavailable? I've been staring at an "approximate wait time is under 5 minutes" screen for roughly an hour now.

Same, I got my online pass issue fixed a week or so ago, the problem? The "From Ashes" DLC error only appeared today. And I can't play the my save files now.

I was stuck on a 25-35 minute wait for ages before I just gave up. Gonna wait till tomorrow.

I just got that issue and my first issue ever with Origin/ME3. Just after I installed Citadel.
EA chat helps? Or I should wait or repair install?

When I got the Online Pass issue, I tried to Repair, log in/out, etc, nothing worked until they issued me new passes. Make sure to test it though. With the first support guy, he gave me just a regular edition pass but I had bought the collector's edition. He couldn't figure out why it wasn't working, so he transfered me to a support guy for Mass Effect and that guy fixed it all.

I've been waiting an hour and my current ETA for a tech person is "155 to 160 minutes." Better get in the queue earlier rather than later.

It won't get "patched". The Online pass has become corrupt. Only way is to contact EA help, it won't fix itself...

This is beyond dumb. How can they release something so broken and then not fix it? We have purchased it, might as well get a working product. The EA chat window says 225 mins. Are you kidding me?

Unable to authorize the listed DLC.
Please log in to the Alliance Network with the account
used to purchase the DLC.
Collector's Edition Online Pass Entitlement.


I told the advisor I've CE and everything, but next time maybe I'll send my CD key too.

I have this error message myself. It doesn't prevent you from accessing SP or MP. The only drawback I know about is that you lose your extra companion outfits like Liara's purple outfit.

That's just enough for me. I contacting support, again. I hope they can fix it. At least I know this doesn't happening with me only.

Having exactly the same problem as you myself. Contacted the Live Support again but the guy I talked to couldn't help me, and instead gave me a number to call so I could talk to a specialist. I'm not going to call the US from Sweden and wait in line though. He gave me a number to call for free using Skype also, and I've yet to decide if I'm going to bother to wait in a queue again or not.

Here's what I did - they issued you a Pass for the Standard Edition. You need one called "Online Pass (N7 Collector's Edition)". Beware that "From Ashes" becomes de-authorized when they do this, so tell them to re-issue it to your account again as well.

@AskEAsupport twitter channel is the way to go. They seem to be several tiers higher than live chat in terms of knowledge and ability.

No need for a new code or anything. They just log you out of Origin while they fix it, after that it's all back to normal.
