Aye we're more than just polite maple syrup farmers. 

On the subject of Trooper this could make a good theme for people upset with the ending: www.youtube.com/watch. Also some Serenity thrown in because why not?

Ah Serenity, such a great movie. Cool song too.

Your post also reminded me about the parallels between the ME and Firefly universes. The "Alliance", the "Reavers"? I'm willing to bet there are a lot of Firefly fans over at Bioware.
