I haven't heard of Tool before this thread but I'm really starting to like them now. Great song choice! Really fits in well with Renegade Shep's story.

Commander Me Gusta Shepard
Song: **** Everything by Jon Lajoie
Ruthless, Spacer
LIs: Liara, Jack, Cortez
Likes: Not giving a ****, Internet Memes, Making his eyes pop out of his sockets, Spiders
Disikes: Salarians, Amphipeons, ninjas, children, sunlight, passion, and sharp objects.

Backstory: When poor Commander Shepard (his original name given by his parents) was born, tragedy struck almost immediately when he had an accident with one his birth vaccines. One of the needles was laced with large portions of the Interent, which increased his nose size, cheek gaunt, and eyes size, as well as made him desensitized beyond all imaginable.

Oh... my... god

And haha nice song btw

I don't give a chainsaw about songs anyway.

Glad I could be of service. But Tool is a depth and darkness you can't really come back from. I've been listening to lots of different music while I was playing (not during actual gameplay) but when I think back to ME3, only Tool seems to fit with the ambiant mood...

It's much harder for me to find a mood-lifting song that isn't lame.

Thanks for the warning. And everytime I hear that Phil Collins song I think of this drumming Gorilla video

Here's my Shepard, who I had to completely redo after his import failed. I did well enough, seeing as he looked almost exactly like this in ME1 and 2. I just added some grey to his hair.

Background:
Earthborn
War Hero

class: Soldier

LI: Liara (All 3 games)

Song: Either Thomas Bergersen's 'Homecoming' (www.youtube.com/watch) or Setting Sail, Coming Home (Bastion) www.youtube.com/watch

Yeah I had the same face import issue with my Shepard. Ended up liking it more than the original so I was pretty pleased. And from the looks of it, your Shep came out really good too. :D

Homecoming's a beautiful track. Haven't heard of it before so thanks for posting it.

Setting Sail, Coming Home was amazing. I've already listened to it a few times already. Also, I've never played Bastion before but it sounds interesting. How is it?

Yeah, it was certainly annoying to have to redo him, but I guess it was okay in the end because I finally got to fix those DAMN cheekbones.

And Bastion is an amazing game, although very short. It also has one of the most satisfying conclusions to any game ever.

I'll definitely check it out. The soundtrack alone is phenomenal, I can't stop listening to it. Thanks again for posting!

Edit: So I youtubed the ending out of curiosity and my God was it beautifully done. They really nailed the gut wrenching, morally ambiguous, world changing choice. Bioware could learn a little bit from them.

Name: Dwight Shepard

class: Sentinel

Background
War Hero
Earthborn
Paragon

LI(s): Miranda or Ashley. It was the toughest choice in the trilogy for me

Interests:  Fighting for galaxy, killing bad guys with Garrus or just hanging out, being in command, resolving conflicts, strong independant women (almost all the LI in Mass EffectPosted Image) , family(as an ophan growing up he wants to be there for his future kids), and proving anyone who doubted him wrong... Oh yea, and resolution. Didnt get that though.

Song: Hero by, Nas

Why this song? - The game needs him because the people need someone to believe in. Song descibes doing what needs to be done while still remebering those close to you who have fallen. Aslo fight for those I must protect.

Amen about the resolution. Great song choice too, I knew this thread needed some more Nas. B)

Get Down would've worked well also, would've love to hear that playing while I was gunning my way through a Cerberus Base.

I'll bite, my fav Shepard so far.

Na'amah Shepard

class: Infiltrator

Background:
Earthborn
Ruthless
Renegade with a smidgen of Paragon.

LI: Liara then Garrus. Sorry Liara. :(

Interests: Blue things, punching people, Greek vanilla yogurt, vanilla bean ice cream, pretty much anything vanilla. Maybe some old school classic games, Contra (holographic Contra, anyone?), being a jerk, cats.

Song: This one, of course.

I kid, this is her real theme song.

As to why Extreme Ways by Moby? Because that pretty much describes her life, as I see it, anyway. It's actually pretty spot on to what I imagine her to be if she was real.

First I have to say your Shepard's eyes look amazing. Did you mod it? Second, love the Contra reference.

As for the songs:

1.) Dat Music...

Posted Image

2.) Cool song! Was this used in the Bourne movies? Anyway your right, it really does fit well with Shep's story.

Hahaha, thank you, yes those are TIM's eyes, actually. I found the code for them somewhere on these forums and decided to tinker with it to get that color.

I actually never watched the Bourne movies, I was just a fan of Moby for a very long time, hehe. But yes, I think the lyrics fit a Renegade Shepard very well.

Ohh I must look for that code now. Also 100% agree with you about Moby, the lyrics really do work well with renegade Shep.

Edit: I always laugh when a movie or TV show throws in a "was that Moby, why is he doing that [insert highly illegal activity]?" joke.

Anytime!

It's true though, we don't think about non-ME music while we play but, personally, I spend a lot of time thinking about this game... At work, while eating, when on the crapper... And while driving. Incidently any music becomes a ME soundtrack.

I had a default face Shepard (I got exceedingly frustrated at facial construction) buuuut here goes!

Nathaniel Shephard, Soldier, Earthborn, War-hero.

Personality wise, he is a fairly straight-edge and recognizes the need of regulations and rules, but also understands that there are a few moments when one needs to be assertive--moments when regulations and code do not give guidelines that explain how or what choices to make that are in the best interest of the mission, or the people you are trying to protect.

He romanced Tali, survived the suicide mission with everyone at the collector base. He convinced Wrex that Saren's "cure" of the genophage was not the cure Wrex wants and unwillingly sacrificed Ashley during the Virmire mission, and saved the council in the push against Sovereign on the citadel, realizing the Council needed to be saved if there was to be any chance of an alliance powerful enough to stop the likes of Sovereign.

In ME3 Nathaniel had united the Turians and Krogan, and cured the Genophage--and even oversaw the smoothing over of relations with Primarch Victus' son on Tuchanka by disarming a bomb that could potentially wipe out the Krogan--both by massive casualties, and by starting a war between the newly formed allies.

On Rannoch, the Commander had united the Geth and Quarians. Ending a centuries-old, bitter conflict and restoring hope for the Quarians all while making Tali's dream for a house on her homeworld, a reality.

Thane had been killed by Kai Leng, and Shephard mercilessly shattered the assassins sword and took special pleasure in taking the assassins life, especially since the Commander felt that he had failed in protecting a close friend and a good man.
