Happens to me too, but I don't have the "Patch" many talked about that was released yesterday, maybe that's why?

I haven't seen a new patch floating around, and I haven't really looked to see if the buy options have changed...though with all the people losing their money that way not sure I would risk it either way. :-/ If you have had good luck with it in the past though more power to you.

It's because there were people threatening to sue over lost real $$$. They have just removed that option while they get it working properly (which should have happened in the first place).

Just dont spend real money on that stupid crap. Earn your credits through game time and get it that way. Oh thats right, you cant do that either because right now its not letting me purchase anything at all. Durrr error purchase failed if this happens again contact customer support. IT SHOULDNT FU**ING HAPPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Got the purchase error on a psp and now I can't get in game at all

Yep, it sucks cause I really don't mind dropping some cash on PSP's because they are the best way to get N7 unlocks.

I liked being able to purchase them with real money, because it would take me forever to be able to get decent packs, because I mainly stick to Bronze. Hopefully they will bring the option back.

I hope they bring it back too, as the more profitable it is, the more likely they will release more DLC or other Mass Effect games :-)

Same here, started playing some silver and it's quite hard, on gold i get slaugtered. I just cant catch a break on with the packs. I have over 200 in N7 rating and not one ultra rare weapon!

I just wish I could get a couple levels on my gpsmg. Not sure if it'll do me any good but it'd be nice to see. I can somewhat hold my own on Gold unless I get a bad team or storm in too close but I'd rather stick to silver til my weapons are better.l

Interesting...Here I thought the removal of the purchase power aside from credits earned in the game was a limited time thing. I wonder if this is related in any direct way to the performance (Frame Rate issues) experienced during game play?

Doesn't work that way friend.
This is just a blatantly obvious way to nickel & dime people
I rather put in the effort to unlock these items through a few sessions than just give real money with absolutely no chance of getting good gear

I just wish there was more diversity in the multiplayer than just constant horde mode
