One of the worst weapons in the game by far. The Eagle, Viper, Shuriken, Locust, GPR, Tempest, Katana, Predator, Eviscerator, Wraith, Falcon, Striker, Vindicator, Incisor, and Crusader all need significant buffs, although the Eagle needs one the most.

It's too bad that there are only a few weapons that are "truly" good, the BW, KHG, GPS, Paladin, Claymore, and Hurricane are seemingly the best, very few weapons can compare to those.

No, it's not. Even on a Turian Soldier it is awful. Why would you use it on a TS, when you could use nearly any other gun and they would perform better? It's like when people say "Oh, but if you use ap ammo, this weapon amp, and this other module, then this piece of crap gun is awesome!" Uh no.. The actual good guns can use those same equipment and still be 10 times better than the terrible gun.

Try a Hurricane on a Turian Soldier, and then tell me that the Eagle is good. The Eagle needs a buff of at least double it's dps to not be laughable.

Tempest needs buffing?...its the second most powerful SMG in the game,only the Hurricane is more deadly and thats a hard to get weapon.
The Tempest is close to the revenant in performance for less than half the weight,it easily out performs the Phaeston etc.
I wouldnt mind if they buffed it but it isnt needed...buffing the AR's would make more sense I think.

Your comparisons are basically arguing that it can compete in the special olympics.  Still a damn sight better than the Eagle though.  But what isn't?

I did a few gold runs with the Eagle with turian soldier and i was always the first or second at the end of the game, so don't tell me it's bad. Of course at the moment it's only good with the Marksman skill, so it definitely needs a buff. Can't try Hurricane, i don't have it.

It's ok that you don't have Hurricane, but try Avenger X next time, you will get even better results
And yes, Eagle is really bad.

  I don't care if you did score first or second in some pub game, that doesn't actually mean anything other than that a lot of people in pubs are really bad no matter what they're using.

I used to say that every gun was at the very least workable on Gold, even if used on an AR/MM specced Soldier, but then I tried the N7 Eagle.

That gun is bad and should feel bad.

Nothing wrong with the eagle, perfect weapon for power spamming human engineers like myself, seems like most people on this forum expect every weapon to destroy every enemy, if it cant its crap

I only bring the Eagle, with the rapid fire build from this topic i can kill easily anything with it on gold (only difference is that i took the headshot dmg at marksman rank 5 instead of duration):

Yup, the Eagle is the worst pistol in the game, by far. The only thing that sets it apart from the others is that it's full auto. Oh btw, it's the worst full auto weapon in the game too. I like all the arguments towards it being actually good though. "But I can kill stuff with it so it must be good, I'm cerial!"

These N7 weapons are ultra rare because you unlock a super secret, extra difficult difficulty level just by using them in regular games!

Actually, only the eagle is supposed to be this bad (I don't know, I like it actually), but the Hurricane (which I will never get even if I am dying to get it, SMGs being my favorite weapons since ME2, seriously, go to hell RNG) and the Valiant are the 2 overpowered weapons of the game.
The crusader can be good, but it's not my thing.

Fun fact: There are only five weapons that do less DPS at level I than the Eagle does at level X. Avenger, Falcon, Shuriken, Locust and Viper. Adding to that, the gun has no redeeming qualities, it is freaking terrible.

Yea and unfortunately I now have it upgraded to II rather than another N7 weapon. UGH. I've tried using it and it was no where as efficient as my Phalanx.
