You're thinking of the N7 Hurricane.  The N7 Eagle is still obscenely awful on a Turian Soldier.

No. N7 Hurricane + Turian Soldier = Win.

Same Soldier could DUAL WIELD Eagles and STILL come up under Hurricane.

Hell, he couple TRIPLE WIELD Eagles and still do less damage than Hurricane.

Eagle sucks so bad it does less damage than the Falcon, and not even AE.

You can short melee and outdamage the Eagle.

Eagles best use is to drop it on the ground and hope something trips over it.

With the new stability consumable Incisor becomes a halfway decent SR ...There is no redeeming quality for the eagle .. just need to wait for the inevitable buff ...

I got the Valiant this time, and have a Crusader II.  I am fortunate.

Both are equally as useless. Just glad my incisor is at x finally. now it's finally out of the pool.

Only possible use I can think of for the Eagle is as a platform for a pistol melee stunner, but literally any other pistol would be equally good at that too. Maybe you could throw it at baddies and it'd do more damage?

I don't get the Eagle hate. Yes with the changes to Hurricane Eagle is now the worst N7 weapon. However I still personally like it. I think it's a superior avenger and that's what it really needs to be compared to not the other OP handguns. I use Eagle as a sidearm for my human soldier/infiltrator builds and it works well enough on sliver.

Yes, it's indeed the worst pistol - and from a DPS standpoint, also the worst of all the weapons.

They're pretty similar in purpose (both best used on casters) except Eagle is more accurate and can land more headshot damage.

Welcome to the club budy... I got my Eagle II this morning for my hard earned gold extraction... The way I see it, in 8 weekend events I won't have to bother with it since I"ll be getting it each time.

I mean come on, it's supposed to be a tribute to the desert eagle, make it bite. It should be what the carnifex/paladin is. Make it a semi auto (3 round burst) hand canon.
