No the Eagle is actually inferior to the Predator in every way...thats not my opinion thats fact from the weapon tables.
Its DPS is much less than the Predators and in fact it has the lowest dps of any weapon in the game.
Feel free to use it but it is dire.

I agree with the OP. I am mostly gold player. My eagle is level II (which is awful). Keep this thread alive. A n7 weapon should not be that weak, Bio must buff it.

I saw one player using an eagle on gold one time and getting lots of kills with it, but he might have been a god, judging from what people think of the gun in this thread. Haven't got it myself.

You can come in and tag the enemy and get the credit for the kill. As long as you hit it last. Lots of people seem think the GPR is the best thing since sliced bread because of this. It creates an illusion you are killing stuff. But really it's your teammates doing all the damage and you come in with your Rapid fire Tickle gun (N7 Eagle/GPR) and get that last hit and get the credit for the kill.

Nope, I just know how to use different weapons and don't limit myself to the same old OP weapons.

I don't have all the kit you have to make the gun decent. 

I'm afraid I'm stuck with base stats and for an N7 weapon it is the worst gun in the game.  For me its only going to cause '**** to be torn up' when I drop it in a pile and for some reason feel the need to try and retrieve it.

Yea a big part of it is having the kit to make it happen. I'm N7 2k'ish so I have tons of level III mods saved up and all attachments at level V of course. It makes all the difference and can turn a ****ty weapon into a good one.

All the high ROF weapons are generally considered by a lot of players to be bad, because of the fact that they do low damage that requires extended firing time out in the open (which can be bad on Gold) or that they're heavily penalized for hitting armor (which in reality actually is only a small subset of enemies, but they're dangerous ones).

The Geth Plasma Rifle was largely believed to be bad for anything other than applying weapon debuffs for quite awhile; although the addition of the Geth racial weapons bonus has made the GPR slightly more trustworthy of a weapon for Geth.

Personally, I like the Eagle (again, speaking purely from single player experience) as a short-range sidearm. It's high rate of fire and good accuracy (when sighted or scoped) will tear through things at short range; this pairs incredibly well with marksman, and in multiplayer would work exceptionally well with Turian Soldiers.

But it is most definitely a niche weapon.

It works with the Turian Soldier, just not very well, especially when you have something like the Geth Plasma SMG or the N7 Hurricane.

I honestly had a small nerdrage moment when I saw "Eagle II!" in my commendation pack rather than "Valiant unlocked!" "Crusader unlocked!" or "Hurricane II!"
It's a pity really, because the Eagle has the potential to be one of the good rapid-fire weapons, if you just give it some more damage and utilise tanky characters and cornershooting effectively.

i got the hurricane, i hate the valiant(and black widow for that
matter) and Eagle is a joke. I wanted a crusader, but this SMG is simply

No, the Eagle is the absolute worst gun in the game.

The Arc Pistol has a very high potential DPS, if you want to click 9.2 times per sec for an entire match to use it.
Eventually I'll get round to adding DPS with reload time factored in.

The Arc Pistol has a rate of fire which is higher than the Avenger, which is a little bit silly IMHO.

All the semi-autos that have 400+ potential fire rates are kind of silly to be honest.

In the hands of a Geth a GPR actually does kill things.  Pretty fast in fact, as long as you can get consistent head shots.

The weapon is worse than the predator (You know, that starting pitsol?)  IN EVERY STAT.
There is absoulutley NO reason to use this gun. It does less than HALF the DPS of its closest competitor.

The predator hits harder.
The predator weighs less.
The predator fires faster.
The predator is easier to obtain.

The eagle's only advantages over the predator are less recoil and three more shots in the clip.

And may I remind you, LOWEST DPS OF THE PISTOLS, LESS THAN HALF THE PREDATOR

You need to check your key bindings. there's supposed to be a "throw weapon at enemy"-button.

Give it monstrous damage, enable friendly fire, and put in a special tag so that it heals any enemy you shoot with it.

yeah, they should double the current stats. the gun is so weak that this buff would probably not be enough
