Gotta say, with the balance tweaking that they do, why on earth haven't they still done anything to the Eagle? It just makes no sense. Basically make bullets do about twice - or slightly less - the damage that they do now, and it's instantly an useful weapon (without being overpowered) that I could see myself using for a change of pace.

I got the eagle in my commendation pack, when I went to try it out it kept doing this incredibly annoying thing where suddenly, in the middle of firing, the number of bullets available went down to like -18 (yes MINUS 18) and I had to constantly reload! Is this a bug or what?

i use it with my human sentinel...well, correction, I hold it while I play with my human sentinel. On the very rare chance I don't kill something with an explosion, it is good at finishing off that last bit of health

Dammit I just unlocked it and gonna give it a wirl.

Its the only N7 weapon I have and with the add ones its similar to my best pistol. ( I have no weapons above common)

It leads me to wonder if the N7 weapons are even meant to be 'top tier' or even 'as good' compared to the other weapons. So far, the only one that's definitively better than its competition is the Hurricane (and that's only on certain kits.) The runner up is the Valiant, which sees heavy competition from the Black Widow.

Otherwise, the:
-Crusader is an absurdly heavy Carnifex, which takes away your Claymore, Graal, Wraith, or GPS.
-Eagle is a bad SMG/machine pistol, which takes away your Carnifex, Paladin, Talon, or hell, any of the pistols.

I mean, I understand that they're all inherently quirky weapons; all of 'em but the Hurricane are basically masquerading as another weapon type. They'll be hard to balance, and it'll be odd having them all half leveled due to events. I guess we'll see. Complaints about the SMGs, ARs, Wraith, and Arc Pistol were all heard and acknowledged, so I'm sure the Eagle will get some love too.

If it matchs SP in terms of damages it great at rank X. But it useless until the higher ranks. Pretty annoying for a N7, you can oly get from a comm pack.

ffs i got the eagle from the last event look like a p0s anyways, if they really wanted to pay homage to the "legendary" Desert Eagle they would of made it like a hand cannon 7 shots, Massive OP damage

It's really only terrible on Gold, honestly, I use it with extended thermal clip and penetration and it performs very solidly on Bronze and Silver. I use the Phalanx on gold.

Maybe I just don't care cause it's an automatic pistol and the recoil makes it pretty good for headshots.

As an owner of an Eagle II, I agree. It's the worst weapon in the entire arsenal. And Broomhandle45, no, it does not perform satisfactorily on silver. My Predator is always a better choice. PREDATOR. The only thing the Eagle has on the Predator is shot capacity, and that's only by a small margin.

Eagle will quickly be one of the most forgotten weapons if they don't balance it. Heck, I didn't even bother with operation exorcist because after 2 Eagles, I'm convinced it's all a scam.

Eagle is worse than the Indra. At least a batarian can beat the hell outta some enemies with the Indra

The best thing you can do with an N7 Eagle is put a pistol stunner on it and hit people with it in an attempt to make them feel the pain of being handed this weapon.

Oh no, it won't be a forgotten weapon, because of the fact that it stole a potential Valiant or Hurricane upgrade from people.  People remember being slapped in the face like that.

I think that's a bit of an exaggeration.  The Hurricane becomes good in the hands of a Turian Soldier if you are willing to spend a load of equipment on it.

So I just got this weapon and tested it. And holy hell, you guys are not kidding about how bad it is. It makes the geth pulse rifle look good. It has the damage of a geth pulse rifle and the accuracy of the revenant.

50%-100% damage boost, increase RoF from 400 to 600, reduce recoil slightly, buff accuracy, increase capacity to 20 rounds.

Feel free to cut down on those stats if you want it to weigh less.
