No you make me laugh. Go to the link on the front of this thread look at the stats. If you did "good"(well) with the eagle you'd do even better with a predator since it is faster firing and has more damage, its reload is even faster its more accurate. The only thing it does better on by a small margin is clip size, but the reload duration is less than half the eagle so the dps is still better on the predator. The numbers don't lie, anyone who claims this gun is better than anything else is either uninformed or a fool.

The point is not that you cannot do well with the gun ever at all, it is that any other gun is a better substitute for it and it is supposed to be a special reward.

Although that point can probably be made since you cannot even kill a basic unprotected enemy on gold with an entire clip of headshots.

To everyone quoting this... He already admitted he was being sarcastic and trolling. You can even see on his manifest that he doesn't even have an eagle at this time. Also he never said he won the gold match either.

One thing it is good for is to keep you using your powers since you won't be doing damage with your gun!

It may not be the best gun, and I still prefer the Phalanx, but I've been having fun with it.

All this goes to show is whatever formula balance Bioware is using to produce the weapons, it is horribly flawed. N7 weapons, more than any other weapons shouldn't be so mediocre

I love the fact that the N7 eagle is a full auto pistol but I agree that the damage is way to low on it. it's suppose to be a redisigned phalanx what the hell happened to the damage? I'm not surprised though the phalanx was stronger then the carnifex in mass effect 2 look at it now not close enough. By the way I loved the locust smg in mass effect 2 hate it on mass effect 3 they ruined it so much for being a hitmans smg can't don't matter how accurate it is the damage is way to low. I hope they fix the eagle and locust.

Gun is seriously a waste. I was baffled when I realized this was one of my N7 Collector's Ediion weapons in single player. I don't understand how this is supposed to be any kind of reward in multiplayer. I'm blown that I also have it in MP, but my condolences who have the II.

I've found out that this weapon is really good in the hand of a turian soldier, even on gold with barrel, magazine mods.

I use it on gold and do fine. I think it's a neat little gun and look forward to getting it upgraded.

Anyone who thinks the Eagle is "fine" is wrong, plain and simple. This isn't a matter of opinion; underneath the hood of the game, there are raw numbers and mathematics controlling everything. Those numbers can be analyzed, and the Eagle simply has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Some weapons have drawbacks which make them difficult to use, but provide a payoff if you can overcome those drawbacks. (See: Hurricane, Revenant.) The Eagle is not one of those weapons. If you overcome the problems, you're still left with the worst damage in the game.

Also, I've seen some people saying that the Eagle has less recoil than the Predator. This isn't actually true; the recoil on the Predator is entirely cosmetic, and the aim automatically recenters afterwards. The Eagle doesn't do this, so its recoil must be compensated for.
