I've just install the patch 1.02 and I find myself unable to log-in. Typing in my password still doesn't allow me to click on the log in button as it's still grey out. Just a moment ago, the log in button was clickable again, but couldn't log in as I immediately get an error message:
"System error, if the problem persist please contact EA support"
Quit the game, restart computer and it's back to square one, couldn't log in cause the log in button is grey out. Pressing enter after typing in the password does nothing either.

yeah - it's luck - you upgraded the game at the exact time the servers went down. I strongly believe it's not the patch, but pure server fault. Let's wait...

The log in window says that I'm not connected to the internet probably that's the reason why the log in button is not clickable. If i'm not connected to the internet I wouldn't be posting message here can I?

No, the problem isn't the update. The problem is definitely on their side. I had the same issue with Version 1.01 (not logged in to the internet). Got bored, updated to 1.02, again no difference. So lets wait and see if any mods are kind enough to tell us what is going on.
