I bought the game through Steam, and I am loving it. However, I downloaded and installed the dexterity fix but due to game automatically updating, I didn't delete it before the patch installed.
It originally was in my core/override folder in My Documents, but after I researched a bit further, I saw it caused less issues in modules/single player, and moved it there. However, what I am seeing, I believe, is incredibly high defense and attack values for my characters.
What are the default values (without the dexterity mod ever having been installed) on a brand new level 1 characters for, say, dexterity? To make things easier, let's use a Human Warrior with all points put into Constitution as a control. Can anyone test this for me?
It seems to me that the values I should have are approximately 4x as high as what should be there. For example, on my mage with 10 Dexterity, her Defense is 40. Is this normal?

That's very low.
Warriors start at 45 and rogues at 50. High dex rogues and shield warriors end up with defense scores well over 100 late in the game.

Ah, so there is a base for the defense then? That really clears up a lot off confusion and frustration, thank you for that.
