Hey everyone,

I've been asked to clarify our stance on this exploit by a lot of BSN-ers (or is it -ees?).

The long and short of it is we do consider this cheating and we are taking steps against accounts proven to have used this exploit. We have a long list of tools we can use to detect different types of cheating.

Depending on the amount of illegitimate credits gained we often perform a simple removal of the credits/items gained but have gone as far as banning people from multiplayer due to a massive credit gain.

If you are worried that your account may be in jeopardy you can contact me3mpcheaters@bioware.com and we will investigate returning your account to a legitimate state.

If you have any questions, concerns or comments feel free to PM me (do not report yourself/others through PM, use the mailing group mentioned).

Why is this allowed?? I have recieved numerous messages from people like AKS II Recon stating, that the premium spectre pack is back, and they need credits, and this person is wanting people to do a glitch with them for an easy 30-45k credits every 5 minutes!! I feel that Bioware needs to crack down on the players doing this kind of stuff, because after all, it is just a video game, and is supposed to be for entertainment purposes right!! So why cheat?  Start banning these morons please Bioware!!

  ~~ Always play legit ~~

if anyone else knows anyone who is cheating or glitching or hacking, feel free to post their gamertag here :-) let's all work together to stop this childish behavior!!

I have yet to hear about anything being done about any sort of cheating, so I would say just ignore it like bioware does.

The problem is not so much the cheater, but those that join a game where cheating is taking place.

What happens if you unknowingly join a "cheat" game and end up with a huge amount of credits?

The reduced wave10 credit reward from the latest update surely has crippled the exploiters, but I doubt they will ever stop doing this unless BW fixes this thing.

Everyone always "unknowingly" cheats when there are consequences. Which, apparently, there is not.
Probably cause they're too busy not fixing the ending they apparently support. I mean.. what?

You don't like the wave 10 glitch? Disrupt their efforts in doing the objective again. Or if you cannot, leave the game if it bothers you so much and if you prefer losing 20 minutes rather than exploiting the glitch.

Choice.
You always have it.

Umm I think they have bigger fish to fry. Considering its not groundbreaking or ruining the experience for everyone else I suggest you just forget about because quite honestly. Not that big of a deal.

You don't spend the credits and report the problem. Also, a lot of ppl are saying its not cheating because its a problem with game design and some other excusses on why they think its ok to do so. Ppl also don't read the User Aggrement they "sign" before they start playing which mentions, put simply, " Exploiting game glitches will get you banned." So do yourself a favor, don't CHEAT!
I've deleted a few ppl from my freinds list I thought were cool, before they sent me an invite to that newb trash sh**. I have more skill/class than that. Even though I bother not to show it....

quick edit.....

10% of the total credits of the whole match removed from Wave 10 and put into wave 6

Isn't it awful when people pretend to play a game for imaginary money to spend on virtual goods?

I will divide my mock-post into 2 separate points:

I like how you add extra exclamation points to sound more dramatic!!!!.

Nobody likes snitches. It makes look like a little.. It makes you sound like a little.. What word am I looking for?.

Someone in the forums mentioned that they ended up in this type of game and I'll just be paraphrasing what he did.

In wave 10, instead of dying with the rest of his team, he saved the day! He hunted down all of the remaining enemies and shot off Cobra Missiles when he needed to. He used medigels and ops packs to keep himself going and managed to kill the last enemy. He saved to day! He was a hero!

So the next time you end up in this type of game, be the hero of wave 10 and save the day! I"m sure your teammates will love you for saving their butts.

Don't forget the person who uses the word "kid" in a condescending manner just to sound cool and also doesn't know where to put a comma.

You need to be, at the very least, in your early 30's to have the right to call someone a "kid" and sound cool..

This is a full co-op game and has no element of PvP therefore I don't really care whether someone is glitching or not so I usually just ignore the issue (also leave match if the team are doing money glitching) and leave it up to bioware if they gonna fix the problem or not.

Bioware just needs to patch the exploit. It honestly doesn't effect other people so I don't see the whole fuss about it. Now if a person was messing with the game and/or not contributing or stealing all the kills by modding the damage the put out or something, then theres a cause for concern cause it effects other people.

Also, I believe decreasing the value of credits earned on wave 10 and boosting the amount of xp earned is lame. It was already easy enough to rank up, the problem is that once you get to level 20, there is no incentive to promote and all the xp you earn is a waste. I don't get why they would decrease the value of credits when we really need an increase for those who keep playing.

I just want to know why it bothers so many people and they feel the need to ban these players if their actions literally do not effect your game, your enjoyment of the game etc.

If BioWare were to make firing your weapon a bannable offense would you be there trying to melee your way through Gold or would you throw caution to the wind? If you would use your weapon the only logical conclusion for it to bother you is jealousy.
