i personal found it boring doing it. and if I was to abuse it I would easyly lose my place on the leadersboards very quickly. I make at least about 2-4 million a day any way just playing  the game.

Right now you're in control of your account, it's your choice what you do in the next day.

Back on topic we go.

How many people did you take action against and on what platforms?

And are you guys assuming control of peoples accounts?

So I'm guessing we can expect a patch for this, since so many people are worried about other people.

Are we threatening players now?

The majority of players who we reprimand are on PC (as I'm sure you could've guessed), followed by Xbox and then PS3.

In my opinion maybe posting the number of people (not names) that actually got in trouble for this will help prevent others from doing it. Right now I just think alot of people are getting away with it.

And no melpomene that's not a threat...it's a friendly reminder that you know what you're doing, and t's up to you if you want to keep breaking the rules or not.

Funny. Bioware are off chasing players that are going to look for new ways to cheat and exploit the game no matter what,  instead of fixing game breaking glitches and bugs for those of us that actually want to play this game properly.

They are fixing the problem.....they have manpower to do both things equally.
It's like making arrests while setting up security so it doesn't happen again, at the same time.

Thomas do you realise that the PS3 is the easiest to mod and you say its the least you reprimand. I personally modded mw2 and mw3 and well all CoDs and all battlefields on it, I dont own a copy of me3 on ps3 but I know its easy as hell.
You should check the PS3 people better ;)

Once more: Moderator and Developer are two very different jobs. Banning people does not take away from the staff that fix glitches and bugs. The fact that Bioware chooses to crack down on players who actively break their rules does not affect progress anywhere else.

"Threatening players"? He's giving the guy a chance to diminish his own punishment- which is more than fair, being that they could just ban the player right away, and they'd be within their right to do so.

Looked like it said they were going to stop his account.
Maybe I read it wrong.

On that note, I sort of agree.  I'd rather see the Reave bug fixed then this because it actually effects me as a player.

While I do agree that the PS3 is easy to mod you have to take into account how many people play on the PS3 vs the other two consoles.

To me it makes sense that the consoles with the highest number of players will have the highest number of cheaters and highest number of different ways to cheat for that exact reason.

As much i'd like to see bugs fixed as well, like Infamous said much clearer than I did, there are different jobs for different people in the industry.
Bugs is also a whole different area of someone else's job...which well who knows what's going on with bug fixing :P

Was it that bad of a game, empty threats make you burst with overjoy at corporate greed?

They don't want you exploiting their game.  It doesn't matter if it was an unintended side effect of the glitch itself, the point is that it's wrong and doesn't point to greed.
I wouldn't want someone taking advantage of something in my game that wasn't intentional.

As far as empty threats...it's really not. It's a perfectly justifiable reason to get punishment for.  Now that you know it's wrong, it's not a good idea to keep doing it.
Daddy is watching.

I feel like this has already been discussed before though. So I don't think i'll get into it anymore and just stop here.

What makes it empty, exactly?

Don't go around telling people they WON'T get banned for this.
