Seriously, guys. They broke the rules. These are the rules of the service- whether the cheaters affect us or not, they broke a binding contract with the service provider. EA/Bioware has every right to ban a player who cheats, and users have every right to report them if they think it's wrong. You guys are the ones who need to get over it.

Moral****.

there wouldnt be a glitch to abuse if they fixed a glitch that has been in since launch which was almost 2 months ago plenty of time for a fix

Here, that's for you. Educate yourself.

It's bad enough when people try to force their morals onto others, but it's even worse when they do it with terrible fallacious logic.

Still doesn't make it right for a player to abuse it.

Making a mistake is one thing entirely.
ABUSING somebody else's mistake is WRONG. And also, violates the Terms of Service.

Don't do it, and there won't be a problem. Not rocket science.

How is utilizing a glitch cheating? Have you "holier than thou" people never, EVER used a "cheat" code before in your gaming lives? Isn't that cheating too? If the company feels it is ruining the experience of others then they will likely do something about it, otherwise it is not hurting anyone is it? Seriously, there are more important things to discuss in life and on these boards.

Moral****s are unable to comprehend this. The will keep on crying until the end of days, thus they're the real cancer that's killing BSN (and everything else for that matter).

He said as he discussed the same subject.

Either way, we've already established that utilizing a glitch is cheating. Go read the Terms of Service, or- Hell- just read back in this thread. Using a glitch to alter your own single-player experience, with no attachment to the Online Service owned by EA, is perfectly fine. But abusing a glitch in an Online Service is not, and never has been. Your point is moot.

And you people are still whiners who cry over something you'd never know about if you weren't told.

Just because something's against the rules doesn't mean it's appropriately so.

Example- Prohibition.

Seriously, game exploits have been included into games or used by the gaming community for decades now. IT DOESNT AFFECT, or have ANY effect on how your personal game play is.. An it takes less than a minute to find a new match... Whats the matter, someone wouldn't let you join in on a farming run? :P

Then take your righteous fight against "unjustified" terms in online service policies to an official court.
While you're at it, go ahead and compare it to prohibition while you're explaining it to them.

I'm sure that'll go over really well for you.

MY righteous fight? That's a good one. I'm not the one crying about how other people play their game.

Ain't crying.

Telling people they're wrong.

That's like saying YOU'RE crying right now, for trying to tell me I'm wrong. We're both doing the same thing on the forum, but it's not crying. The difference is that what I'm saying is backed up by actual facts, and what you're saying is.. Well.. The equivelant of "mind your own damn business".

Most TOS wouldn't stand up in court, but usually arn't worth fighting for most people.

As for this...who cares?  Bioware already knows about it. I'm sure they will fix it at some point.

Anyway...who's game is hurt by this? Not me.   Why  don't we all just applaud the OP's highly public and attention grabbing but pointless moral stance against evil and be done with it?

The reduced wave10 credit reward from the latest update surely has crippled the exploiters, but I doubt they will ever stop doing this unless BW fixes this thing.

The easy fix is to move the credits rewarded for wave 10 objectives to wave 11 extraction and the bonus payout is based on how many of you survive extraction. The reason this is a fix is because they HAVE to die on wave 10 because if they don't then it breaks the glitch cycle.

That is the easy fix for the exploit and it makes extraction actually worth doing... two birds one stone.

Exactly. Mind your own damn business. If it doesn't affect you, and you complain about it, you're nothing more than a child throwing a tantrum.

Everyone doing it already knows the risk. It's kind of implied at the "Turn off feedback" part.

Apparently, they don't. I've been watching these threads for a long time, and you may- or may not, I have no idea- be surprised to know how many people think they aren't in any trouble at all. I mean, just look at the previous pages. People think it's okay, because it's a bug; they think that, just because they didn't use an outside program or hack, that means they're in the clear.

Lotta' people need a healthy dose of information.

And I'll be all over every thread about this subject, too.
