This would be sound advice, if you were following it yourself.

But then you wouldn't be here to give it to me.

Quite the pickle.

I know, but why do you take it upon yourself to tell everyone this?

Why not?

Why do you take it upon yourself to post anything in this thread? Why are you using these forums at all?

Either you answer my question or you don't. But don't try to evade my question by asking me questions.

You can't really call the glitch/exploit cheating at all, know why? Cause at the end of the day people are still playing the game. You can use actual money to buy packs a whole lot faster then you can from actually investing time into the game.

Also, who are you to actual tell someone there rights or what they'd agree too, and why is it your business in the first place? Why do you care at all?

If this was a pvp game mode, I can understand, but because it is cooperative, there is a very small number of ways in which cheating can actually effect and harm anothers gaming experience. 4 people getting alot more credits in less time then I do when I play doesn't bother me at all, cause I know there someone using Microsoft points or whatever currency to buy packs alot faster.

Monitization of in game assets, in a sense might as well be considered cheating cause your not actually playing the game at all.

I take it upon myself because that is a point of discussion, and these are forums- a medium of discussion. It is simply something I can say and talk about, just as anybody else can talk about anything else here, particularly if they have an informed opinion or a fact to add to the discussion.

I also take it upon myself because, to a lesser extent, as a designer I believe in the sanctity of contracts and the responsibility of a client to uphold their side of a contract when they agree to it, and not take it for granted.

I wish Bioware would stop having "More XP" weekends and give us "More credits" weekends.

Why is this allowed?? I have recieved numerous messages from people like AKS II Recon stating, that the premium spectre pack is back, and they need credits, and this person is wanting people to do a glitch with them for an easy 30-45k credits every 5 minutes!! I feel that Bioware needs to crack down on the players doing this kind of stuff, because after all, it is just a video game, and is supposed to be for entertainment purposes right!! So why cheat?  Start banning these morons please Bioware!!

  ~~ Always play legit ~~

if anyone else knows anyone who is cheating or glitching or hacking, feel free to post their gamertag here :-) let's all work together to stop this childish behavior!!

NOWHERE IN THE EULA DOES IT EQUATE GLITCHING/EXPLOITING TO CHEATING.   PLEASE DO NOT REWRITE MY EULA AND MISINFORM THE COMMUNITY TO SUIT YOUR RANT.  UNTIL BIOWARE RELEASES A STATEMENT THAT EQUIVOCATES THE TWO CREDIT GLITCHING HAS NO PLACE IN A CHEATING DISCUSSION.

Sorry for the caps but PLEASE let EA's high paid lawyers and executives make those distinctions and take action, as I"m sure they are more than qualified.   If you don't approve of an action available to ALL PLAYERS that is your prerogotive.  But to label honest consumers cheaters is irresponsible and just plain silly.

Cheating that only affects Bioware/EA is still cheating that affects somebody. Just because they are a company with a lot of money already does not mean that you aren't potentially cheating them out of it. You can argue that those people would not have paid money, regardless, but that's a moot point- we won't know, because they have already cheated, and have no reason to spend money any more.

The only way that would be cheating Bioware *snickr* is if you could ONLY BUY PACKS WITH REAL MONEY.  The mechanism for free packs is built in with the credit system, and last I checked, my EULA makes absolutely no reference to my credits,  how I earn them or what I do with them.  That is MY RIGHT CLEARLY SPELLED OUT IN MY EULA.  Simple as that.   Stop calling glitches that THEY created cheating.  It's childish and categorically untrue.

Real money is an option. By abusing the bug, they are cheating them out of potential money.

Is an exploit, and until BW declares a capital offense punished by ban, is just a dirty way of earning credits, reduced gains on wave 10 will slow them down a little, but again is not all out cheating like those guys that get 1M creds on wave 3

Understandable. I despise many users' disgusting contempt for the company and all it's employees.

Blindness can be shared by all.

As long as people realize that if Bioware makes an official statement about it, the players who have committed the then-named offense will be open to banning- whether they committed the offense after, or before the announcement.

LOL By that logic, earning credits and buying packs by simply playying the game is also cheating.  Maybe you should sit the next few plays out, champ

Hm. Don't XBoxers and PS3 people require an Origin account?

Because....well, the Origin TOS sure makes the 'exploiting is bannable' pretty clear.

Credits are a part of the game, included by Bioware on purpose.

This bug is, obviously, not. Nobody in these forums, anywhere, has ever claimed that this exploit is an intended mechanic included by Bioware. Even the people who are exploiting it will admit that it's a bug. Most of the time, that's their entire argument. Because they at least have that iodum of Common Sense.

So when a user actually uses this exploit, they understand that they're doing something that was not intended to be part of the game- unlike buying a pack with credits, in general.

incorrect, credit glitching is stealing from EA/BIO and I'm sure if you told all your freinds how to do it and they all did it BIO/EA would loose money

clue in

I'll use my CC instead thanks, does that make me a sucker no, makes me honest and happy with what I paid for, it was worth it.

Some ppl need a kick out the door, life is that simple

Yeah, that'd be nice.

Also, from what I've read on the Credit Exploit, it only works for XBox users? If so, it shoudln't surprise anyone that there are exploitive shortcuts in a Microsoft product.

Take your trolling somewhere else.

I said that those users would be OPEN to a ban, I did not say it would definitely happen. In the case of abusing bugs in particular, it is not uncommon for online service providing games to hand out bans before they make an official stance on the bug. It is up to the player and their own decency to know whether or not they are doing something that is not intended for use.

On xbox we pay XBOX LIVE.  Origin is the PC portal.   "pretty clear"?  I don't see it that way.  Matter of fact if must be so clear that it's invisible because I don't see any reference in your post.  Please enlighten

Entire Topic summed up "I'm angry that i'm playing a free part of a game, earning free credits to buy non-tangible items, using up my time.. An Someone found a more efficient way of doing it"
