I'm sure this has been covered already, but how do I access the content on the ultimate edition expansion pack disk?

I installed the contents of the expansion pack disk onto my hard drive, but, at the title screen it still lists all the contents of the expansion pack as new downable content...as if I don't already have them.

What did I do wrong?

Technicality. Although you have the dlc from the UE disc, you didn't purchase them off of XBox Live marketplace. Usually such 'available' content is linked to XBox Live purchases and only disappears when they are bought off of it.

Advice: just ignore it.

Okay.

Here's what I did. I put the expansion pack disk in first. It prompted me that since I do not have a hard drive I would require that first, but, I do have a thumb drive. So what I did is installed the expansion pack disk (as you would any other disk) onto my thumb drive.

Whatcha think?

Doesn't change what I stated above: it's still a technicality. XBox Live marketplace will always state that those dlc are 'available' for purchase because the records tied to your Gamertag will show you have not purchased them. That is true for redeemed content via the use of a code as well.

From what I am aware of though, trying to install the dlc to anything other than an HDD is problematic; the official line from EA support is you need an HDD. If you can get it to work then you are one of the few success stories that have managed to get that to work during my time on these boards. (Would suggest you outline how you managed to do that and with what equipment to give others hope and advice should you wish to share.)

It is my understanding that you can only properly install it by starting up the disk, allowing an update to happen, selecting the dlc you want and proceeding...I don't think the more normal form of installation works (though I could be wrong)
