I think there should be some compensation to the people who can not access the content for which they paid. I small Compensation Pack would be great.

Compensation: Bioware abandons EA and tries to regain its reputation.

I'd take anything, even the promise of something, I'm very much not enjoying this server downtime.

I play with my friends, we have been playing BF3 and LoL but we want to play Me3 to get PSPs for ultra rares.

Also I'd like to see what I get out of the commendation pack owed to me.

At this point they reall honestly should do something to make it up to us.

I wouldn't say this if it wasn't the magnitude of the problems happening and the time it's taking to resolve them. If it was just the bug from tuesday that prevented us from playing that got resolved yesterday, that would be fine that can slide, **** happens. But with this new origin online pass issue it's just gotten beyond just "**** happens".

Yeah, the fact I can't play a game I PAID FOR online because of an issue is retarded. I've never pirated a game but you know it is getting bad when pirates have less issues playing the game than those of us that actually bought it.

Play a different game (playing through Assassin's Creed II here), go outside, etc.

I take it you don't feel that the things you buy need to work.

You can actually play the single player (I tried, it still works, even with Javik), so it's only half broken. Be thankful of that.

Considering it's been only down a day it's a bit premature to jump on the bandwagon of demanding compensation. Plus, it's a video game for Christ's sake, not a serious item like a car.

Devil's advocate here: all the games that you're comparing the ME3 MP to (WOW, LOL, etc) are SUBSCRIPTION-based, which means you're paying to play them on a regular basis. That's why those companies are usually willing to credit folks with free time in the event of outages. But you're not paying to play ME3 co-op, it's free. So technically, BW/EA doesn't owe you anything if there's an outage. Would it be nice to get free stuff? Sure. Are we entitled to it because some of us couldn't play for a couple days? No, not really.

LoL is not subscription based. Its free to play so you're wrong.

League of Legends is free to play, and they still give out compensation to all players for servers errors.
So, that argument of 'they don't owe us anything' is looking pretty bad.

A free pack certainly wouldn't be unwelcome.

As much as the pass issues have angered me, I do not believe compensation is due. Getting their act straight is more than enough.

When things go wrong with SWOR people get extra game time added to their accounts. When F2P League of Legends goes awry they give out credit boosts (like this week).

Can we expect BioWare/EA to offer something of value seeing as its a common practice with other online based games?

So ME3 MP is totally free to play so do you suggest the will gives us more time to play or maybe Bioware points. To the SWOR they gave a compensation becouse it's game Pay for paly so I don't get the example. As to the League of legends is game F2P, there is no need to buy stuff but if You don't buy the stuff in later gampleays Your character will suck ( heavn't played it). And ME3 MP is tottally free, You don't need to buy anything (sure You can buy packs but where is the sense when We can get the same thing only by playing the game).
.Can't play ME3 multi then go play some other game (there are plenty of them B))

This whole mess was supposedly caused by their utter inability to deal with the technical details of giving out commendation packs. Are you certain another pack would be a good idea at this point?

They DON'T owe us anything. Just because League of Legends likes to pat their players on the head and give them candy for being good little girls and boys doesn't mean doesn't suddenly mean EVERY OTHER non-subscription game suddenly has to do the same thing.

You're basically saying "but Billy's mom lets HIM have McDonalds after he goes to the Doctor! EVERY mom needs to take their kid to McDonalds from now on!"

Strangely, I can still play the game on PC. Unfortunately this seems to be a rare exception. Nobody that I routinely get games with is even online because they can't run the game.

Um, actually we PAID to be able to play the game. I haven't had any other game that had this many problems that prevented me from playing online like I wanted. The whole "not having an online pass" is complete and total BS.

Unfortunately, people seemed to have become accustomed to bad customer service. I feel people should not accept poor service. A product should reflect the pride a company and their worker take in what they produce.

League of Legends has issues all the time, and most of the time you get zilch compensation for downtime (ranked or not).

Besides, clearly this wasn't a global mess since I've played flawlessy when everyone's been complaining about being locked out or multiplayer being totally down. So really then, only some people were even affected, meaning anything they give out will be playerbase wide essentally giving me freebies.

Which means whatever they give out, if they are generous enough to give anything at all, will totally suck. You don't give out quality goods to the masses just because "some people" had issues.

TLDR; unless your Multiplayer has been totally wiped/violently exploded your computer, suck it up and deal with it. Games, like people, have issues too.

LOL! Most hilarious thread of the month.
Goooood job.

You're comparing this to a subscription based game that you pay for on a regular basis.
This is just plain silly, and multiplayer wasn't even down that long...you all are a bunch of spoil brats.

Agreed. I just wish all these gamers would learn that it's okay to complain about games every now and then, especially if it's a game from EA.

I haven't been able to play Me3 MP for almost a whole day.

And when are they going to change the ending?

And why is DA2 not more like DA?

And why is DA not more like Baldur's Gate?

Bioware, you owe us loyal fans.
