lol I wonder if all these lovely devils advocates really believe in what they're saying.
Would you guys be ok if you found a cockroach in your restaurant meal, too?

"Oh just suck it up, **** happens."

I think there should be some compensation to the people who can not access the content for which they paid. I small Compensation Pack would be great.

League of Legends has issues all the time, and most of the time you get zilch compensation for downtime (ranked or not).

Besides, clearly this wasn't a global mess since I've played flawlessy when everyone's been complaining about being locked out or multiplayer being totally down. So really then, only some people were even affected, meaning anything they give out will be playerbase wide essentally giving me freebies.

Which means whatever they give out, if they are generous enough to give anything at all, will totally suck. You don't give out quality goods to the masses just because "some people" had issues.

TLDR; unless your Multiplayer has been totally wiped/violently exploded your computer, suck it up and deal with it. Games, like people, have issues too.

It appears that a great many people are having this issue.  It would be pointless to give compensation to those who have had no problem.  The compensation should only go to the ones affected.

No, we as players and customers do not need any form of compensation server downtime. Part of participating in online multiplayer video games includes the understanding that occassionally the hardware in place to support these games will not always be available.

those comparisons of MMOs like WoW and SWTOR with ME3 are kinda funny :) ofc when something goes wrong with an MMO you pay for every month you get a compensation in the form of free time, but you cant apply the same thing here... besides some ppl are making mountains out of molehills, you cant play one game for what, 2 days? (for me personally its been 1 day) yeah it sucks, but its not the end of the world...

LOL! Most hilarious thread of the month.
Goooood job.

You're comparing this to a subscription based game that you pay for on a regular basis.
This is just plain silly, and multiplayer wasn't even down that long...you all are a bunch of spoil brats.

Smart one its STILL down for pc.

Many free to play games over the years have given compensation for downtime. Just as many none free to play ones have done so too.

I'm not asking for their first born, I'm simply making a topic about possible compensation.

Thanks for trolling and flaming.

Alright my mistake, but look at this...how long as it been like this?
If it was like this for a longer period of time, okay maybe they should give us a special pack but honestly, it's not even been that long. It's a free service and you guys want something because of it...already?!

Next time you buy a car, make sure they install that lojack system that cuts off the engine when you don't pay on time.

Then make sure the credit company cuts off your vehicle at random and doesn't acknowledge a problem until a large base of their customers complain.

Then they don't say a word while you're sitting at home unable to get to work that's too far away for you to walk there.

Then, when your boss realizes that there's a line of people waiting to take your job and do it immediately AND have a car without your problems lets you know tomorrow that you've been "let go", just remember that customers don't deserve compensation for not being able to use what they purchased.

And when you can't get another job because your car won't start; you're losing your home; your family has bailed on you; and you're standing at the corner collecting pitty money, you stood by your principles and can feel better about enabling corporate america and giving them the respect they deserve.

It's an extreme example to be sure, but points out exaclty how wrong a statement like your's can be.

They made a sticky that they are working on it...? What else do you want? A 20% coupon for their next game?

Why can't people be patient and let them fix it instead of attacking them and tell them they are doing a horrible job.
I hate to be the one to say it but s*** does happen. glitches, accidents, stuff happens.

QFT.

It costs them very little to give out digital goods and would go a long way to boost customer confidence, but then again, EA isn't known for caring about it's customers.

WOW Servers being down would give  you free day each day till it came back up

All I know is, if I can't play ME3 I have other things I can do with my time that won't mean me getting upset to the point that demanding compensation is the only thing that'll make me feel better.

Guildwars is a one time fee, if their crap goes bonkers they own up to it and people get loved.

If TF2 was unable to be played for 2+ days, I'm sure they would have given out a free hat!

Just asking for AAA service from AAA company.

YOURS is down. Mine is not, nor has it been down once since the problems began. Bioware won't be able to really tell who's has been down and who hasn't, so they'll either give a big cruddy compensation to everyone, or none at all.

It appears that a great many people are having this issue. It would be pointless to give compensation to those who have had no problem. The compensation should only go to the ones affected.

When LoL has issues, everyone is compensated if there is any compensation at all. Different games I know, but I really don't think Bioware would actually spend the time to go through every player, find out who had issues, and give those people X compensation item. It's far easier/cheaper to just give everyone something, or hand out nothing at all.

Well if you bought a used copy and the price of the online pass and game was more than the new game itself then your just stupid, and if it was then you still got it cheaper.
