There shouldn't even be such a huge thread demanding compensation.

The fact that such a thing is here already shows Bioware/EA's lack of initiative in customer relations.
It's not just this issue, this is the result of all the acculmuated inconviences that have plagued the game since day one.
That's what puts a sour taste in my mouth.

It's only been 1-2 days though, that this particular problem happend...that's what I am talking about though, only this. The other problems shouldn't even be in this thread, and they haven't been directly mentioned which is good.

I do feed bad for those who have been victim to problems  in the past and still happening. I haven't had any issues besides this one, and that was actually just a night and a half ago when I think it was down globally for a little while. I don't have the recent online pass problem though, i'm on PS3.

*only* 1-2 days?

*only*

you've got to be ****ing kidding me. It's 4 hours away from being 2 full days, and thats just in MY case, there are plenty of others who were blacked out even longer than I have. This is not acceptable at all, this **** does NOT happen. 5-10 hour blackouts happen once in a while for many games, hell when WoW has a patch go live the servers crap out for a while, but never is there a blackout of 2 days.

IT JUST DOESNT HAPPEN.

This is beyond unacceptable, one full day is pushing it but that can be forgiven, two days is over the line especially with no end in sight.

Stop downplaying it.

In truth, the compensation I really want is an end to the DRM b.s. they've created in form of always-online gaming. This b.s idea they've come up with punished us legit consumers, and didn't even stop piracy. So there was no point. In the end, their efforts at removing the (money) problems of piracy, does more harm than good.

To be honest, EA, you will never stop piracy. Someone will ALWAYS find a way around.

to stop piracy is not their goal, theyre very well aware it cant be done, but the point of anti-piracy protection is either to delay the release of the crack for as long as possible or make it difficult for wanna-be pirates that they eventually give up and buy the game instead ;) and believe me, its working

They should think about adapting their business model rather than fighting desperatly to hold on to a sinking one before they go down with the ship.

Brettic...it has happened. You're acting like you're gonna expect this every few weeks. And with no end in sight? We don't know what 's happening in a company. It's better to just simply say they are working on it, which is the truth, than to give us a false estimate.
If you want it fixed right, you gotta have a little patience.

You gotta just calm down man.

You're not paying for the online services; you don't need to be compensated. This thread sounds a lot like the Sony hack: demanding reparations for bull**** like "ohnoez i missing teh BLACK OPS double xp weekend!".

Individuals should have repercussions for their actions but not companies?

Some of these millennial's have never worked a day in their life and doesn't realize when they're getting bent over analed.

Either that or they have never had to go without or really stretch out a paycheck or - heaven forebid- them or a loved one getting a long term illness.

I obviously disagree.  I feel very strongly everyone, including corporations, need to be responsible for their mistakes.  This is especially true since corporations seem to feel they should be given the same rights as individuals.  What I find sickening is that corporations feel they are above individuals and should be able to get away with things most people would never even dream of trying.

We probably can't really agree because I haven't had any significant problems with my playtime experiance.  It wasn't absolutly flawless  I admit because of a pack purchase 'failure' in which items where shown up in my inventory, but it didn't really tell me what I got. I only found out by searching.

Punishment, depending on the problem which we don't know because they don't tell us specifics, will be dealt with inside the company if it was someone's fault.  Hell someone is probably getting chewed on right now, but they won't tell us.
They did theie job telling us it's getting fixed, and that's true they are working on it. I believe it.

There's an easier way to show them that you aren't interested in their antics...they talk money...they feed off popularity and activity.  Don't give them any more money, don't participate in any of their networks and games. Don't show you care anymore...then they will straighten up.

People can whine and complain and do all they want...but once they keep playing that game and giving them your money, who cares what you say?  It takes extremes to really tell a company to change their game.

Obviously this isn't a 100% everyone problem, and the people who are getting the worst of it should really contact them, keep trying, phone calls, whatever you gotta do.
But because MP is down, those people who want free stuff because they can't play it after one or two days...need to just stop and step back and be patient. That's all i'm getting at. All other chronic problems others have experianced,  I really do feel bad for.

I think we should get compensation. Like others has noted, these threads wouldn't exist if EA/BW had better customer relations. The bad stuff that has been going on has definately accumulated since day one.

I think EA/BW handled this pancake of a screw up terribly. If it was any other than a gaming company, people would be furious and heads would roll.

It took them approximately 18 hours to modify a stickied topic where they declared their problemsolving skills and that Multiplayer should work just fine.
It's like a bad joke, and I've been losing faith and respect for them exponentially over time.

People need to wake up, you've bought a product and it's not holding up. Just because it's a game doesn't make it okay. You're fooling yourself, making this okay only opens up the possibility and probability for more screw ups.

Something nice happening in celebration would be nice. Compensation. Nope.

Commendation packs? Hah. Do you want the game to break again?

Don't you find it laughable that they had a sticky saying MP was working fine for 18 hours when it didn't?
I'd be ashamed if I worked at EA/BW and this happened.
