What would it take for YOU accept the endings as they are?

But I think I may have better odds teaching a kitten to cartwheel.

For me, if The Catalyst wasn't a boy wearing a hoodie, with a god-awful voice actor.
If it was like Vigil I think I could have digested the awful choices more...it seems wrong for the Reapers to be this little kids play thing.
For me too.

I could live with what we have (most likely the reality of the situation) if there was an explanation of what the bosh'tet just happened and why, and what the consequences were for the galaxy and characters we grew to care about.

I agree.
As in another post in this thread, I think I could add to the list "being able to see my crew and other important figures post-choice".
Like being able to see the squad, Hackett, maybe the council etc. This game deserved a flushed out LOTR ending, not some cop-out to buy more DLC...

The final choice is ok. I just want the situation explained in a way that I don't feel like an idiot when I accept the Catalyst's reasoning, I want an option to not destroy galactic civilization, and a prospect for the Normandy to get rescued in the "good" endings where Earth is ok. With that, I could've lived with the lack of closure and the feeling that my choices don't matter, since at least things wouldn't have been as depressing.
That's why I think the EC can fix things.
Ah....but only if NO INDOCTRINATION. If they implement that I'm going to ritually burn my ME3 disks and never touch anything Mass Effect again.

That's what I'd do for a klondike bar. I'd accept them as is.

Add an option to kill reapers without destroying all synthetics, an epilogue that shows the ramification of my choices, and let me know what happened to my former crew and I'll be pleased as punch.

In order to even qualify for that pile, however, they need to fix the editing problem and explain the whole Normandy fiasco. That entire part of the ending was edited badly, poorly conceived, more poorly implemented, and just generally terrible.
They can leave the Crucible section. It's such a perfect storm of BS that I almost want them to leave it untouched as a monument to future generations.

It is ridiculous how much I would ignore in the rest of the ending if Shepard survives with LI and friends.
This. Bioware, if you want to do the space magic, do it right and conjure a happy end. Otherwise, I am afraid you will actually have to use some logic and common sense

- Remove and replace the Normandy scene.
- Let the Geth and EDI live in destroy.
- Preserve the mass relays.
With these things I would.... tolerate the endings, at least.

End with Shepard and Anderson, then show me the consequences of my decisions throughout the trilogy. Have an option if I've been very, very good to reunite with my LI and for the love of God get rid of the Normandy scene. Joker and my crew are not cowards, they would not have run.
Only this lot will get me to accept the ending. I can forgive the other problems the game has, just fix the ending.
