What would it take for YOU accept the endings as they are?

The current endings robbed me of both. The EC can salvage the current endings... but certain things need to be taken into account. (ie: Shepard's future if s/he lived, seeing our war assets in action and making a difference, being able to question the Catalyst, the future of the galaxy, why is Joker running, where did the Normandy crash, why are the squadmates that were with us onboard, and will Shepard re-unite with them).

- Make the Catalyst something other than the leader of the Reapers.
- Remove and replace the Normandy scene.
- Let the Geth and EDI live in destroy.
- Preserve the mass relays.
With these things I would.... tolerate the endings, at least.
If it's good enough for TAO, it's good enough for me.

"I EXIST IN A REALM FAR BEYOND WHAT YOUR PUNY EARTHLING MIND CAN FATHOM SO SHALL APPEAR IN A FORM YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH "
That is the most tiresome of all sci fi tropes. Our imaginations are supposed to conjure up an eldritch space horror far beyond our most fevered nightmares, which the writers and designers can't be bothered to create. At the moment Shepard's final scene is against what is essentially the Reaper King's sock puppet.
Perhaps not such a great idea considering what they did with Tali's face, we'll just end up with a giant monster man with a cuttlefish for a head.

-As has been mentioned, reuniting with crew would be a nice option
-Maybe a option to refuse all the choices and make our last stand come what may
-Either remove the Normandy scene, or come up with a damn good explanation for it.
-As has been mentioned destroy Reapers without sacrificing all synthetics, this could be tied to EMS
-Maybe have the Relay destruction tied to EMS as well.
-Show us that what we did actually mattered. Show us we united a galaxy
Edit: This would help but really the endings feel really broken right now, I don't know if "clarification" is enough.

This, minus the relays. I can live without them, and it would be interesting to see how that plays out (I'm not convinced everyone will be totally helpless without them, but it would cripple the economy. If QEC is still operational, it would probably be easy to innovate new technologies and at least get people on their way home.)

Make the crucible no longer be a magical reaper off switch but instead have it weaken the reapers based on your EMS. (Low EMS = Weakens reaper shields, renders relays and citadel inoperable. - Very high losses dealing with the (slightly weakened) Reapers. High EMS = Takes down reaper shields completely, corrupts targeting etc, leaves the relays and citadel untouched. - Not too many losses dealing with the (significantly weakened) Reapers. And a lot in between ofc)
Remove the Normandy scene (It's ridiculous, no redemption possible)
Allow Shepard to survive and have a happy ending with his LI when your EMS is maxed or very close to max. There's no reason to exclude a happy ending from the game altogether. Those who do not want it, don't do fetch quests and have your Shepard die if you want. Simple.
And of course though not directly related to the ending: No more f...ing multiplayer to get your EMS to the required lvl in the first place

Having IT proved true. The ending content stay as it is, but it's not the end of the game. Those last moments are still important to the game, but the player actually gets a chance at a proper ending.
This.

If they could go back in time and change the endings, that would be nice:)

Reuniting with the crew and LI.
Only because I'm such a softie and willing to forgive many things.
This. At least it would have greatly helped. It would have taken away atleast 60% of my frustration. My crew and especially my LI mean a lot to me, so it really killed me that they crashed on some foreign planet and Shepard never got to see them again. So, if I would have gotten closure with friends, an epilogue of the galaxy rebuilding and characters starting new lives, and a final scene with my LI... all of that combined... I could have forgiven 80% of the dumb starchild bit. But 20% of me would still be frustrated because that made no freaking sense. Still, it would have been enough for me to accept and move on and replay the series again and again.
But as it is, everything is terrible. I'm praying the EC fixes everything.

Shepard being dug out of the rubble by his/her L.I and carried to safety while under heavy fire. The L.I will try to revive Shepard but to no avail. Shepard now lies dead in the L.I's arms. Que nightmare sequence (well maybe not nightmare but something close to it). Shepard is shown badly wounded in the forest. Instead of chasing the child he/she would follow the L.I's voice and begin to run to said voice.
Que flash of white light and back to reality. The L.I hanging his/her head over Shepard's body crying. Shepard wakes up says the L.I's name. The two then share a intimate moment. Only to be interrupted by Anderson.
That's all I have so far, haven't thought much further ahead then that.

Beyond changing the ending itself, I don't think it's possible.
