What would it take for YOU accept the endings as they are?

I could possibly be distracted into forgetting about all the other problems with the ending if there's a new cupcakes and happy rainbows ending option in the EC. Basically, I'm just hoping for the literary equivalent of a sugar coma.

If only there was such a device.
To the OP question: See the site in my sig. The epilogue takes the current endings and gives them closure and catharsis.
I want more from the EC, but at least that site helped make the endings bearable.

Bioware acknowledges that the endings are at best only mediocre and fail to deliver on many of the promises made over the last five years.
In game simplest way. Let me tell the Catalyst to **** off and die, then show the Allied fleet get its ass kicked and the Reaper cycle continues.
A sad day when the Reaper victory is my preferred ending.

Since I currently can still think, the endings as they are are unacceptable

Either way my question will be put to rest good or bad.
It only decides wether or not I throw out my ME games and regards for the series as a whole or not.

Best case scenerio, Shepard still exists in the Citadel somehow and can communicate with others "I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite shop on the CItadel" over the loudspeakers, maybe.
Red: High EMS to spare EDI, geth, and Shepard. Allow for reunion with crew.
Between these two, could potentially have BG2 style ending, become a god, or live out life as a mortal?
Green...I have no idea what would make this one acceptable. Might become palatable if it was made clear that any changes in biology were purely beneficial and would not alter mental state or functioning at all. I dunno. It's pure space magic. I'd say it has no place in the ME universe at all, but then we did have the Lazaus Project too...
Edit: Reunite with LI and crew would let me forgive the ending too. Not forget, but forgive.

Having IT proved true. The ending content stay as it is, but it's not the end of the game. Those last moments are still important to the game, but the player actually gets a chance at a proper ending.
This^^^, but add player chosen counter-arguments to spacetwit.
OH and actually make it believeable, with ending dialogue/epilogue SCENES!

I hate the endings as are, and nothing will make me like them. They can be made more bearable, but without changes, nope.
