What would it take for YOU accept the endings as they are?

Armies clashing with reapers (Rachni, Quarian/geth, krogan, etc)
Squadmates from all 3 games (or at least ME3) charging the citadel beam (they die/get knocked out/survive depending on things like loyalty or dialogue options u picked during the game(s) )
Marrying your LI or at least some "future" side showing you have a family.
Life without relays, basically "what happens afterwards." Relationships between the races increase? decrease? Do krogans dominate the world? etc.
Many others, can't think of it.
Other than a lot of cutscenes, closure with characters (something like Fallout does, but maybe more complex).
Maybe that's asking too much, but they set us up with this world so it's rather expected you pull through and deliver the ending it deserves. The current one is not it.

-A chance to argue with the Catalyst instead of meekly complying
-As has been mentioned, reuniting with crew would be a nice option
-Maybe a option to refuse all the choices and make our last stand come what may
-Either remove the Normandy scene, or come up with a damn good explanation for it.
-As has been mentioned destroy Reapers without sacrificing all synthetics, this could be tied to EMS
-Maybe have the Relay destruction tied to EMS as well.
-Show us that what we did actually mattered. Show us we united a galaxy
Edit: This would help but really the endings feel really broken right now, I don't know if "clarification" is enough.
Yup, all of this too^^^^^^^^^^^

Scrap the starkid completely. Have Shepard (+EDI perhaps) figure out the crucible on their own. No explanation to the reaper origin - it's insulting.
Make the crucible no longer be a magical reaper off switch but instead have it weaken the reapers based on your EMS. (Low EMS = Weakens reaper shields, renders relays and citadel inoperable. - Very high losses dealing with the (slightly weakened) Reapers. High EMS = Takes down reaper shields completely, corrupts targeting etc, leaves the relays and citadel untouched. - Not too many losses dealing with the (significantly weakened) Reapers. And a lot in between ofc)
Remove the Normandy scene (It's ridiculous, no redemption possible)
Allow Shepard to survive and have a happy ending with his LI when your EMS is maxed or very close to max. There's no reason to exclude a happy ending from the game altogether. Those who do not want it, don't do fetch quests and have your Shepard die if you want. Simple.
And of course though not directly related to the ending: No more f...ing multiplayer to get your EMS to the required lvl in the first place
Yes, we're getting there...........

And his "logic" and the limited choices he offers are bad, and the choices, with no option to do anything but choose A, B or C, which ALL un-Shepard-ize my Shepard, make this scene even worse.
I guess I accept the endings as they are, because I played through it, and know that these are the endings.
However I can not accept that they are at all GOOD (as in good story-telling, not good morally or feel-good-y) endings. In every way I look at it, from the moment the beam takes Shepard until the pop up to buy DLC, the ending is just bad. It may have been good in another story (and I'm pretty sure this ending is currently good in other stories), but not in this story.
The extended DLC will likely make the ending a little less bad, but as long as it's the Deus Ex God Child and his 3 offered choices with no ability to challenge him, the ending will remain bad.
Since Bioware has stated the essence of the ending isn't changing, there's nothing they can do to make me accept these as decent endings for an otherwise incredibly fun game series and story.
Mass Effect will be something I always remember as one of the worst endings to a story I've ever experienced in any form of story telling (books, movies, video games, tv shows).

What I would need:
- Normandy crew makes it back to the Sol system
- SOME important plot characters survive on the Citadel (ie - Aria, Bailey, Council members, Atheta etc...)
- Catalyst was bluffing about Destory wiping out the Geth and EDI. It is a forced drawback to make it so that Destory isn't the only ending people would pick. I can buy the pulse frying the Reaper HARDware, but making it able to destroy SOFTware is completely unbelievable.
- I want to know what happens to the races now stranded in Sol (even if it is vague).

Don't you actually mean, after Harbingers' beam?
Because this is forgetting everything up to the catalyst, uh, short game choice?

I need to know what happened to Shepard/crew/allies/races after the war. I need to know what Shepard (if alive) and LI (if alive) did after the war. What happened with the Geth and/or Quarians. What happened with the cured (or not) Krogan. What happened to the Citadel. The Council What were the effects of my use of the Crucible on the galaxy. Etc. All these plots had definite arcs that we were denied seeing the endings of.
I'm hoping this is what we'll get with the 'closure' of the EC. This would likely get me enjoying the game again.
This could be done very easily, with an EPILOGUE. Of which Bioware forgot to add.

1) remove the Joker/Normandy/crash scene and replace it with something that makes sense. I know the Normandy rejoined the Sword fleet after dropping off Shepard. I don't think any of your "team" should have been on the Normandy. EDI? The mainframe, yes, but the body? No. Sorry Joker.
2) replace Starbrat with something I don't want to strangle, say maybe the image of the race of the ones who built the Citadel (I don't believe it was the reapers, but instead the ones who built the first AIs that ran amok). Hire a voice actor who can be convincing. Don't make the thing transparent.
3) Allow more of a question/answer session. You just played 150 hrs of games. You've earned answers even if they don't matter.
4) Change the wording "the mass relays will be destroyed" to "the mass relays will be disabled as they were when you first found them" in all but low EMS playthroughs. -- at least give the player some hope even if the character does die, okay.
5) Make the cutscenes actually reflect the choice you made and the level of the choice you made.
6) An epilogue: I'd like to know what happened to everyone.
_______________________________________________________
Optional but it would be a nice gesture:
7) An apology for leaving people hanging for so long on a bunch of post-modernistic nihilistic bull**** "artistic integrity" crap. The present ending left a lot of people who had silver Xbox accounts with the "You die and all the mass relays are destroyed, and everyone in your Sword Fleet starves to death" feeling for weeks ==> you ended the reaper threat, and everyone hates you for their lot now.
That bitter feeling followed by "my sweet" and "buy DLC." Sorry I get angry when I think about it.
Don't do it again!

I'll accept the the death of the Geth and EDI, because they can be rebuilt...but entire star systems being wiped out...that's a bit more complicated.
