For me, if The Catalyst wasn't a boy wearing a hoodie, with a god-awful voice actor.

If it was like Vigil I think I could have digested the awful choices more...it seems wrong for the Reapers to be this little kids play thing. Posted Image

EDIT: Try to be as "understanding" and realistic as possible Posted Image

1) Many, many, many bottles of whiskey.
2) EA selling Bioware to Valve
3) Valve and Bioware bashing EA by creating free DLC that fixes it all, since they care about their fans.
4) Bioware and Valve making Half Life 3.

I'm easily pleased.

I spent weeks trying to make sense of the ending we got. I feel that I've already earned my peace with the ending.

do you mean accept as in think they were well written/implemented as is, or accept as in move on and purchase future bioware products.

For the former divine intervention, or major head trauma.
For the latter just bioware actually admitting they majorly dropped the ball as simple as "our bad, that was pure nonsense. we'll do better"

If I have to exclude IDT as a possibility, I need a metric ton of explanatory exposition. My brain will require some serious hand holding to be led to the conclusion that the events of the ending, taken literally and at face value, make sense and are appropriate for the series. Here's hoping they can pull that off.

Well, first they could make it all make sense. Then they could repair the ethical, philosophical, and logical problems of the ending and I would be happy. Unfortunately, that means tossing out the old ending to a story that was never told and writing a new one to a story that has been told. When people from university English Professors to those who play and love the games complain about the ending....well, we have been down this road before.

So in answer to your question, it would not be possible to make me happy unless they fix the mess at the end of ME3. But with all of the "artistic integrity" crap and the BioWare employee who was caught voicing an opinion that the fans don't matter, I'm beginning to doubt that BioWare really cares what I think or how I feel about their products.

And this is why I've largely given up hope of having endings that make sense, and am campaigning more for an upbeat ending (Shepard lives, reunion with crew, etc).  It seems like a slightly more realistic goal.

If I can't have a good ending, I at least want a happy one. Posted Image

Knowing the true, long term effects of my choices. In no particular order, this includes knowing the fate of:

a) Shepard
B) My LI
c) My Squadmates
d) My Crew
e) Other Key and non-Key Characters (e.g. Anderson, Conrad Verner, etc.)
f) Earth, the Citadel and other Homeworlds
g) The Reapers
h) The relays and the travel system

The current endings fail to do this in a comprehensive and conclusive manner.

Dat epic idea :o

I would be pleased if the damn Godchild would give me a proper Explanation why every Synthetic has to be evil INCLUDING Geth and EDI.
AND i want this line for my Shepard:
"Ah yes, "Evil Synthetics"... We have dismissed that claim!"
