Well, first they could make it all make sense. Then they could repair the ethical, philosophical, and logical problems of the ending and I would be happy. Unfortunately, that means tossing out the old ending to a story that was never told and writing a new one to a story that has been told. When people from university English Professors to those who play and love the games complain about the ending....well, we have been down this road before.
So in answer to your question, it would not be possible to make me happy unless they fix the mess at the end of ME3. But with all of the "artistic integrity" crap and the BioWare employee who was caught voicing an opinion that the fans don't matter, I'm beginning to doubt that BioWare really cares what I think or how I feel about their products.
And this is why I've largely given up hope of having endings that make sense, and am campaigning more for an upbeat ending (Shepard lives, reunion with crew, etc). It seems like a
slightly more realistic goal.
If I can't have a good ending, I at least want a happy one.
