The pinpoint accuracy on the crusader is just insane and I love it. It also reloads in less than a second. This weapon goes great with my human soldier. the 24 total shots can be a bit annoying. But it's not like ammo boxes are hard to find. I use the EB and Sredder weapon mods on it.

It's a great sniping shotgun. The Graal and GPS are good sniping shotguns too. But it takes time to get use to the Graals projectile speed and the GPS's tracking projectile. The crusader is point click, headshot, dead!

Weighs too much to be effective. Sure, you could use it with a no-cooldown class or an Infiltrator, but you'd be better off with other weapons.

I just got the Crusader II today, haven't played with it yet but I imagine it isn't a significant improvement over the Crusader I...

That and the cover penetration amounts stack so its always fun to rack up two or more kills with it in one shot

No gun has armor effectiveness reduction on it, only way to achieve this is with AP ammo, an AP Mod, or certain powers.

I love how most people think that if a gun isn't the the Widow/BW, Carnifax or the GPS it automatically "sucks." Not all weapons are supposed to be gun shaped nukes. The game becomes boring very quick if you only use a few weapons in the game.

i got this gun when I 1st started, when all my guns were lvl 3 it was a badass gun in silver but i found as I got past lvl 7 it was pointless to use compared to the carfx and widow,
but if you are a soldier that does not us powers to much it does work well as a sniper and upclose kill all in one weapon, but at the same time I have not used it for a month as it's still at lvl 1

Agreed, when I come across people who looks in a good way to diferent weapons I feel good enough, it's a shame to see so many (not all) posts idolizing BW/Valiant/Widow/GPS/Carnifex and many of them (not all, again) bashing anything that's not it.

Honestly I prefer to use more than the "OP" guns mentioned pretty much everywhere, hell I'd have happily went into gold with the pre-buff Arc Pistol just because I like variety, regardless of the stats. While I'm not saying everyone who likes/defends any of the guns listed above is someone who blindly bashes anything else, there is plenty of it and while yes those guns are clearly overpowering in certain aspects it's just not fair to compare them to everything else like many (once more, not all) do.

More on topic I do like the Crusader, mostly because it behaves differently from oher shotguns and I like that, besides that many pros to it have been mentioned above like inherent AP, inmpressive accuracy, etc.

And before someone comes and tell me "Well use the Black Widow because it's better how I see it", well maybe I don't want to use a sniper, maybe I do like the role Crusader takes amongst it's kind.

Nice gun for a Krogan or Batarian that melees a lot. Sometimes it just isn't feasible to get into melee range right away, and this shotgun works great at range. Up close you just beat enemies to death with it. My KV uses it exclusively.

I think I'd like it better in single-player. I tried it on Bronze; if nothing else, it's fun to shoot.

One of these days they have to release the N7 Arsenal Pack as seperate DLC... They did it for the Incisor in ME2, I don't see why they can't do it again for these guns.

I'm not saying that all guns suck, I'm just saying that the Crusader is pretty crappy for an N7 weapon, unless you are a soldier/infiltrator that doesn't use powers/likes to rack up headshots. For an N7 weapon, the crusader is very under par, especially for a weapon that is so hard to get.

I guess you haven't faced a wall of Guardians yet....

But anyway, you just have to use it differently than other shotguns. It's supposed to be more of a precision shotgun than a CQC shredder like the Claymore. Its accuracy is insane, and I've killed things halfway across the map with it. If weight is an issue, use it on a Soldier.

Ironically, the Crusader has been the only weapon so far that I've gotten a 50+ kill award with. Maybe I just haven't overused the Carnifex, GPS, or Widow enough, but...

I understand that, but everyone is compairing it to the GPS or other guns that are insanly strong. GPS itself should have been an ultra rare. Its just way to strong. But when you think about it, the only ultra rares that are powerful enough to be worth their rarity are the Javalin, BW, Valient, and the Paladin. The others are easily overshadowed by rare and uncommons. 

It needs a sever buff, but it is still not terrible. I really enjoy it myself.

BW I has higher damage per shot and per second than Crusader, while on Infi also benefitting from Cloak evolution 6, built-in scope and AP, while can be obtained from purchased packs - so no, not better, sorry. Still very decent though.

I think it's a good weapon, but seeing that it weighs considerably more than my Claymore X is kind of a dealbreaker on most classes.

Just by looking at it's stats it looks like it needs a damage buff per shot and maybe having it's weight reduced to 2.0-1.4.

As it looks now if I unlocked it I'd probably use it once and then put it away for good. Why pick the crusader over a valiant, black widow, widow, paladin, carnifex, gps, claymore or even crappier shotguns like the wraith and graal? No reason as of now, except for killing guardians but that's easy anyway.
