as pointed out already it is illegal and can land you in prison for two years (at least in Germany)Xyogan8320 wrote...
It's like pirating movies. Why buy a movie for free and have to sit through 5 minutes of unskippable copyright announcements, previews, and other crap when you can pirate it and get just the movie?
Solution: Get rid of Origin

I live in Brazil and here, it is VERY easy to pirate games (or so I see from my friends) however, good quality services like well... "Water vapour" unmotivate me to pirate. Having a good quality service is the first step to a good income of money. Seeing such bad management and bad concern for your customer base is just retarded, you are motivating people to pirate your products because if you purchase them, you PAY and don't RECEIVE whereas if you pirate you DONT PAY and you RECEIVE.
i never thought id side with the piraters on this but id say i gave the company fair chance by buying the product and getting ripped off. if i then seek to make ammends for my loss (especially after going through the proper channels i.e customer support and forums etc.) then thats on them.
i still pay (ridiculous prices at times) for microsoft software because they satisfy. the thing that kinda sucks about pirating is you dont get to actually damage the bad company. the product is intangible and the losses they experience are always some projected amount they thought they could make ... stealing capital that isnt even there.

What's sad is that Gabe Newell once said something like that about piracy and DRM. I wish I could find the video online about it but he says that he believes piracy on video gaming is mostly done due to it's 'lack of service'.
The problem I see with using origin is that I can't play ME3 offline with it, all because I have DLC that can't be verified. That in itself is dumb, because if your going to validate DLC, why not just validate the whole game? All because I have from Ashes, the game doesn't want to load any of my games while offline, and that's a big problem if I take my games on the go with my laptop and I have no wi-fi to do it!
I hope bioware either fixes this problem, gives us a workaround or gets rid of origin. I hope I don't have to take any rash action by myself...
