Is it just me or did Bioware get kind of Lazy both in ME2 and ME3 when it came to the female armors?

Example: the Cerberus armor it was in both games the only difference between the male and female was that sizing yet they had a model to work from in Miranda's DLC alt costume to work with where they could have made the female armor look like it was made for a female.

FYI Miranda's DLC outfit is the same cerberus assault Armor you get in ME2 just built for a female body and colored different so I have to ask would it have really been that hard to use the same colors as the male armor add the Helmet and call that the female Cerberus armor?

please, no...

In real life a soldier would no run into gunfire with a chainmail bikini, why should game characters?

LOL, Samara's outfit would do for me.

All in all they just need to look like they were MADE to fit a female as they are now with the exception of the Starter N7 and Serrice chest armor the rest look like they were designed for men only.

The two can easily be combined.

What? I HATE the form-fitting armors from previous games. I like the ME3 approach better with the Hahne-Kedar and Ariake Tech armors; my favorites on my female character. Makes her look more like the bad-ass female space marine I'm going for.

Is it really that much of a crisis when you can't see the outline of FemShep's boobs? Jeez.

They were far far lazier with the custom face builder.

Can't even use default femshep's hair? Seriously?

The Female N7 and the Serrice armor is sexy on a female the rest make her look like an emo boyband wannabe pretending to be a soldier. <_<

Ashley's armor in ME3 looked retarded. Full of concavities pointing towards her ribcage that will break her bones the moment she takes a hit.

Best female chestplate in the game: Hahne-Kedar. Awesome looking and no deadly form fitting edges for the sake of boners.

Given how Femshep already sounds like a phone sex operator sexy armor should be expected. :innocent:

P.s. Ashleys ME3 armor is just a modified form of Femsheps Starter armor in ME2

Kestrel armour looks pretty practical too.

Completely agree with this. Ash's armour is just for the LI curves.

A major reason why FemShep is popular is because the armour she wears is suitable compared to most other games out there. So yeah really awesome there is no skin.

As for N7 armour. I agree with Tirigon, that set is pretty sexy.

It retains a decent sense of protection while still being aesthetically flattering to her curves and female form.  Yeah having a breast plate still isn't practical. But I can let it slide on the fact it still looks good and isn't totally ridiculous like Ash's variant is.   The N7 armour is there to look good and still look baddass.  It pulls it off really well in my opinion

As for the original question.  I think this was inevitable.  I mean MaleShep got a Leather Jacket and Femshep got a retexture of Diane Allers Dress.   Armours are taylored for the male protagonist first.  But hey, at least they went about some tweaking to make sure things dont look really silly.
