According to TES games string bikinis and latex are the best armor types put there.

LOL.
Um, Mods don't count(;

And running around in your bra and underwear if female, is not armor.

Skyrim falmer/some fur armies/ancient noes armor.

Why do you think they die so fast?

Ashley's armor in ME3 looked retarded. Full of concavities pointing towards her ribcage that will break her bones the moment she takes a hit.

Best female chestplate in the game: Hahne-Kedar. Awesome looking and no deadly form fitting edges for the sake of boners.

You do realize that Ashley's armor is just re-skinned ME2 FemShep N7 armor, right?
Also FemShep in Hahne-Kedar has a nice ass. ;)

I think you're right; especially since she wasn't even intended to be in armor.

What makes you think that? Of course she was gonna have armor.

Mass effect is more or less and RPG. and like ALL rpg, it is bound by certain tropes. Going back to Miranda and how her latex bondage suit was able to absorb bullets and a missile launch from a loki mech, I say this. The less armor/clothing a female companion wears in an RPG, the higher their Armor Rating is. By this logic, Jack has the highest Armor Rating in the game for female companions. And it shows.

please, no...

In real life a soldier would no run into gunfire with a chainmail bikini, why should game characters?

b/c Mass Effect =/= real life

this game is so militarily inaccurate that its not even funny

That doesn't mean they should make things even worse.

there are other things i'd rather they fix . . . . . . like the endings

when it comes to being militarily accurate, BW is SO SO BAD that i just ignore their horrible military representation

Yes, more oversexualization of female characters is exactly what ME needs. I also require transparent sections on quarian exosuits and Miranda's outfit to become standard Alliance uniform.

Skyrim falmer/some fur armies/ancient noes armor the natives armor also savior armor

Oblivion had gladiator/iron and a couple others...

Also they die fast because the armor is not upgraded and the creatures are generally lower level than the player.

Nah. Were you here just after some of the first leaks were out? There was a big uproar about Ashley not having any armor.

lol no, the Casey tweets, artbook, and script leak proved they always intended for Ashley to have armor. The complainers were just too stupid to see that.

transparent sections on the quarian exosuit?! BBRIILLIIIAANNNT!! We can finally know for sure what the Quarian skincolor might be and if they have a hard exoskeleton like the turians or if they even have hair! So many questions from the talimancer fandom would be answered from that one simple act.

In the me universe what we see as looking like future cloths can be a very light armor. Take liaras cloths for example

I'm pretty sure you're in denial then, or like the others, just didn't look hard enough for the answers.

Remember the armor laying on the table aboard the Normandy before Shep leaves for Mars?

I was immediately struck with how strange (silly) FemShep's chestplate looked.  And this was only reinforced when she wore it:

http://diehardgamefa...15-26-27-28.jpg

The different textures of the (default) N7 armor's upper body is good for the male Shep - but the female, not so much.  The differing textures makes part of the armor look lighter and other parts look darker - for a FemShep, the bra area in the upper body armor is darker.  To me, it looks like Shep is wearing a bra over her armor!

It would have been much better, IMO, if it appeared as one texture like this:

http://fc03.devianta..._by_Evil_FX.jpg

One texture, one color would have done wonders...

While, IMHO, the form-fitting female armors have improved much since ME1's "sagging boob" variety, the form-fitting armor chestplates in Mass Effect are not my first choice.

I wonder if there are others like me who prefer the non-form-fitting chestplates?  They are more to my liking because they seem more professional to me: the Hahne-Kedar, Ariake Tech and Rosenkov Materials armor sets in ME3.  IMO, my FemShep looks like a geniune (tough, uncompromising) soldier in these, not so much in the others.

Thank goodness there is more than one non-form-fitting chestplate for my FemShep to choose from in ME3 (thank you, Bioware).   In ME2, there was just one, the ONLY one my FemShep ever wore.  The Kestrel (known as Rosenkov in ME3).

Hey, if you're going to deride my suggestion on transparent armour, I'll thank you not to paint me a sexist.

my Hawkes (both male and female) ran around in as little as possible.

Yes, BoyShep in banana sling.
Yes, FemShep in lingerie.

If you require transparent sections on quarian exosuits, then I require transparent sections on Zaed, Jacob, Garrus and Thane.

FTW.

Incidentally, EDI is naked.

Doesn't armor in ME not really do anything except enhance abilities?

Well, at least in ME1, it kept you and your squad from being killed by toxic atmospheres and extreme temperatures. It also mitigated the damage suffered from attacks that bypassed kinetic barriers, like slow-moving alien acid spit.

I actually found the female N7 armor pretty sexy.

The Female N7 and the Serrice armor is sexy on a female the rest make her look like an emo boyband wannabe pretending to be a soldier. <_<

All the non-customisable armors look like crap imo, and are worse than N7 even statwise.

The achievement is the only reason to ever buy them.

And oddly, if she puts on the DLC uniform her ladyparts become more visible than when she is nude.

To be fair, as long as the hotpants feature a pocket for the Mass Effect Field Generator, underwair could very well be better armor than any heavy suit in the ME universe.

The important part is the energyshield anyways, since even the weakest weapon would punch through the best armor as if it was silkweave.

Oversexed or undersexed? That is the question.
