I'm all for sexy armor BUT all I really want is for the female armor to actually LOOK like it was made to fit the female form and not some scaled down version of the males armor.

ME actually had MALE and FEMALE armors and you could tell the difference between the two ME2 and ME3 you can hardly tell male armor from female.

Not really what works best for a man doesn't always work for a woman big and bulky on a female will only slow her down.

Not that I have an issue with Male and Female armors but why does female armor need to form around the boobs?

The body armor female soldiers and cops have today does not take boob form and to have it do so actually seems to compromise chest protection. Maintenance costs for having different male-female armors would also be an issue.

Not if it is powered armor that actually improves your speed and strength.

Which, coincidentally, is the case for high-level armor in Mass Effect.

Body armor of our time wouldn't stop a pistol shot in the ME universe hell it doesn't really protect as good as some people think it does all it takes to pierce Kevlar is a Teflon coated knife or bullet.

P.s. the only ME armors that increase strength or speed in the ME universe are the ones that say they do in their description like the Inferno armor.

The effectivness of body armor does not change the fact both male and female body armor today is idetical. I dont understand why armor would need to be different based on gender eaither espically since female armor in ME seems to have much weaker chest protection.

It still beats pink satin ribbon armor by several lightyears.

No reason for the armour to fit around the boobs - they're not made of stone. I preferred the less shapely armour for my FemShep because it just felt more realistic. I'm fine with Miranda, Ashley and co. rocking their arses about, but I like that FemShep at least has the option of dignity.

a) I dont think maleshep would wear a bra. I dont actually mind it, but it doesnt seem really ... fitting.
B) why? Do you think a thin piece of clothing under your energy shield makes even the tiniest difference to nothing under your energy shield?! If so I suggest firing a weapon at a common t-shirt and looking if it stops the bullet.
c) that would defeat the point of having sexualized armor
d) Why? Again, the energy shield is what protects you, not a f**cking piece of cloth.

OK here we go.

a) If it's just a bra, then it shouldn't be considered "armor." That belongs in scenes in Shepard's quarters.
c) I never said "sexualized" armor was a good idea to begin with. A futuristic soldier should look like a futuristic soldier, not a caricature of a futuristic soldier. When the person I originally quoted suggested lighter armor for biotic classes, I was thinking more along the lines of ME1 light armor, minus the sealed fabric underlayer. A little bit of exposed skin would be ok, maybe on the arms or neck.
B) and d) Not according to the ME1 Codex. It explicitly states that "energy shields" (by that you really mean kinetic barriers) only stop fast-moving projectiles, like bullets. They simply do not respond to things like toxic gases, extreme temperatures, or a rock flying at your face.

Regarding your last point, does this look like just a piece of cloth to you?

Oh, and before you mention biotics, let's do a quick thought experiment. If there is a biotic on say, the Moon, would you prefer the biotic to be under constant strain of having to keep up a biotic bubble to keep the vacuum of space from killing him/her, or would it just be easier to wear a spacesuit?

Some men are capable of not thinking about sex at certain times. Amazing, isn't it?

That's the spirit! Look at Samara for an example ladies. She can break peoples' necks with those heels! It's not just a symbol of beauty, but a symbol of death!

I disagree, as ME2 and especially ME3 made a point of making every nook and cranny of the female characters' bodies visible through layers of armour, but the fundamental idea you highlight is as it should be.
The notion of wholly disparate "male" and "female" armours is an artifice void of any real purpose within the context of the game.

It's not the most egregious fault of ME's sexual politics, but I have to say it's rather silly.
