Heavy bombardment: if this happens enemy forces will have bombarments happening on locations that will be marked before an airstrike happens on that location
any players and enemies caught in the blast will die INSTANTLY yes there will be no revive option
there will be 3 airstrikes each will be marked (like how an area hack gets marked on the map) and in 10 seconds the airstrike will hit
oh and it can only happen in maps in which you can clearly see the sky (meaning there will be no airstrike on glacier or reactor for example)

So bassically units that sponge my bullets for the enemies? Oh wait my teammates do that already ..... Hmmmm I can't think of how they can be worse than my teammates too be honest .... Any A.I. units I get would easily be better than 90% of the randoms i get put with.wizardryforever wrote...
Allied Assistance: A small squad of AI controlled help arrives, and lasts until they die. They won't be quite as useful as actual teammates, but nice to have around. Who shows up (and by extension what abilities they have) depends on what map you're playing on. So you'd get Krogan on Giant, Turians on Condor, etc.

Seems kinda extreme, though. This could be one of those with an incredibly low chance of occurring, or one that only happens on silver or gold.Scudman_Alpha wrote...

Really good ideas, and would be fairly easy to implement.
Fully agree, and the latter is certainly key. Great job, OP! The faction specific notions sound horrible... (in a fun way).

Yeah that really depends on how good your teammates are, and how good of a job the AI does.GGW KillerTiger wrote...

A good list of maps for this:
Giant - Krogan
Condor - Turians
Reactor - Asari
Hydra - Salarians
Glacier - Mercs (Blue Suns?)
Dagger - Alliance Soldiers
Ghost - Alliance Soldiers
White - Quarians

It will be a bit like the hacking objective, but if you leave the circle you die.
Maybe to make it harder, the toxic gas blankets everywhere except the bubble. So when youre in it, you cant see any of the enemies until theyre right next to the bubble.

A Reaper Destroyer lands on the battlefield. Hilarity ensues.

Well I did have another idea in that regard, I'll edit the OP.Sacramentum wrote...
I like this. The power disruption one is a little too much though. Maybe if it created hot spots where it is bad, like what the gas did on the Justicar recruitment mission on ME2, that'd be fine.
But I kinda think the power disruption one makes sense, since it only happens for one wave, and everyone can still use their guns. It basically forces you to do something other than spam powers for one wave. Sometimes people need to be forced out of their comfort zones.

don't need it under even more presure.
1, 2 4, 5, 7, 8,9, 11, 12 yes wave for random events
Shuttle pilot I got hit I going down and then static
wave 12 goal. be last man standing. spawn zone restrictions lifted they spawn any where where there is a spawn zone.
would a banshee even pick up a trooper? they stare at decoys.

How about one where the air turns toxic and starts draining your health? You have to get into a biotic bubble that appears in a random place every time.

Like it! Not sure the Novaguards will, though...

It sounds cool, but I kinda think it's a bit too drastic to be a random event. That sounds like something you'd need to set up a whole new mode for. But of course, my opinion isn't the only one that matters.

ever heard of lag?
it really messes up games.
put that in any game hinting at lag before would now be lag central
anything that was lag central before would be now connection to server lost / dc host or why am I over here dead?
if this was implimented all I see is alot of bans being handed out and mabey swat involved

i like the supply drop ones. i had a thought. a random grenade supply drop - if a player has a grenade power then all players receive a supply of the same grenade type equal to the amount of grenades in said players inventory. so if the player with the grenade power only has one grenade then all players receive only one grenade, etc. the players who receive the grenades can only use the amount they receive and can never replenish them unless there is another random grenade supply drop, and they have exhausted their grenades from the previous drop. if no player has a grenade power, then each player receives one random grenade of the same type that is chosen based on the map. if multiple players have different grenade powers, then all grenade types are randomly dispersed among the group, but players can only receive one of the types. players with existing grenade powers can receive grenades of different types in addition, but the same rules apply, they can only use the amount received and can never replenish them "unless". the grenade supply drop does not replenish grenades, it only disperses them among the group. this supply drop would essentially be random, but would never occur unless a player with a grenade power has at least one grenade in their inventory, or unless no player has grenade powers. this drop will also not disperse grenades among the group from a player who does not possess a grenade power, but still has a grenade they received from a previous supply drop. the drop is either determined by the player with the grenade power, or the map itself. players who receive grenades can not receive additional grenades if they still have grenades from a previous supply drop.
hopefully that covers most of the rule bases..
either way, this is a great idea you have here..

Like what they SHOULD have done with Jack in SP if you don't do Grissom in time:
a Phantom with much more powerful barriers, more HP, no hand-cannon (I'm sure people will love this), limited teleport and a couple biotic powers (why yes, her stasis would be linked to a teleport/sync-kill but with a LONG CD).
An Atlas with a MUCH weaker turret+raptor mounted...as a turret. This could shoot over most cover at short ranges and cover a 360 area, as well as snipe back at snipers...however, at point-blank range the turret would be unable to target, also, it could be disabled with sufficient damage.
A faster Geth prime with an automated small grenade launcher (enough to force you out of cover, but not cause serious damage) and small flamethrower.
A Geth Heavy Hunter with improved cloak (no shimmer AT ALL unless hit) Pyro HP/Shields outfitted as a sniper with a weaker version of the Javelin.
Umm...can't think of something for the Reapers...maybe give a Banshee some more rapid, weaker attacks? A Brute that grabs something heavy and throws it at you, or over cover?? It acts like a contact grenade, AoE damage, and stagger.

The best thing is how all of the ideas would be easy to implement, they don't really change anything about the core of the game. Hell, "The enemy of my enemy is still my enemy" even ties in with the Horizon/Miranda mission from the single player game (where Cerberus and Reapers had been fighting each other).
Gawd how I would love for all these ideas to be implemented.
