Well we already have Proximity Mines and Submission Nets, for when you want to set traps.

Here's another one, that I'll likely add to the OP later:

Varren Infestation:  A group of Varren spawn behind the team, and attack anyone they come across (including the enemy).  They'll attack organic targets first.  They'll only attack synthetics in defense or if there are no organics around.

A lot of that i like, all really great ideas. But with what i've been seeing lately in my Gold runs, would make all of that make the game MUCH harder. I just dont think most people could manage making it through waves with the toxic effects and land mines and such. Hopefully if that does happen, Bioware sets it up right.

Well the trip mines would be just like the ones in single-player that the Geth use on Rannoch.  About all they do is half-shield damage and stagger you.  Could be deadly in the right circumstance (like sprinting past enemies), but probably just a mild inconvenience.

If any of these get implemented then we'd just let the good times roll YEEEHAHAHAAA!
A banshee only round would be nice aswell.
Or a marauder avalanche.
Or a geth trooper rush with a huge amount spawning and being as aggressive as possible.
Or a king ravager with shields armor and health 3 times the fire rate and impeccable aim.
Or a king of any kind of any unit being surrounded by lesser units of the same caliber just more aggressive.

Invisible Grenades:  Cerberus and Reaper matches could experience this random event, which makes enemy grenades give off no proximity warning on your HUD.  You could still see them on the ground/in the air, though.  But you'd have to pay attention to the beeping sound, or look on the ground to see where the grenade now is.

Salvageable Rockets:  Rocket Troopers, Atlases, and Ravagers now have a chance to drop rockets that you can use in your Cobra Missile Launcher.  However, once you pick up the rocket, you must use it before switching guns, or it is wasted.  Extra rockets will disappear at the end of the wave.

There should be an event where friendly fire is possible. It could last a couple of waves, and would test how much your teammates trust each other. Not sure what you would call it though.

Well a lot of people think that you can use indoctrination to achieve that, but since I'm something of a lore nerd, I'd have to say that indoctrination does not work that way.  Now it could be possible to have your allied assistance turn out to be indoctrinated, but it really shouldn't work on teammates.

As for friendly fire in general, I can't really come up with a plausible excuse to put it in there.  I think a lot of people just want PvP.  Which is fine, but should be a separate mode if it ever gets done.

As for me, I'm starting to run out of things to put in this thread besides shameless bumps.  If people would discuss this, I wouldn't have to risk the thread getting locked.  Ideas are welcome!

Thread necromancy seems warranted, given the changes and new features that have been added since I posted this.  Anyone have any good events based on Rebellion or Earth DLC?
