Ah, but see, there are spawn points already there. It is the entire spawn mechanic that would have to be redone to get spawns to drop close to a player already near or in the specific spawn point. Then you would still have to nerf grab kills or just remove the mechanic. Barring that, you would need to add teleporting/charging bosses to Cerberus and Geth.

So nothing major, just 2-3 complete changes in the way MP works. Bioware should have no issues doing that since they love to change things about the game that require more than a simple Coalesced edit, like the endings.

People might as well get used to the fact that in this iteration of the MP, there are not going to be super nerfs or PvP. It is simply too much work for a F2P addon to the SP game.

Or you could just make it to where the random selection gives exp and credits instead of just exp. Additionally, they could make it to where at 20, experience you earn is converted to credits at like a 1000:1 ratio.

If people don't like that map, why don't they play another one? I will never understand the problem people have with FBWGG. In just about every map there is typically one or two places that the entire team could just bunker down and finish the whole match.

Boring? Yes. Doable? Absolutely.

If people want to utilize part of a game that they paid for a certain way, let them. If people don't want to play with them - fine. Everyone has a choice - as it should be.

I bet if everybody stopped doing FBW they would move onto FB Giant, then you would start complaining again. It doesn't affect you so it shouldn't matter to you.

If anything they will be just make it more lucrative to branch out.  The latest balance change added 25% more xp for choosing random/random.   I have personally seen a shift already and it's only been a day.  I think bonus credits for random/random would have had a larger impact, but it's a start

@Violet, not at all, I would like to see a little more variety is all, I believe the only way to do that is to give people a carrot to try other maps. It is meant to be the galaxy at war after all not war at FBW

Not going to happen, you can use the exact same tactics on other maps, or even in different places on Firebase White. Its not a cheat or a glitch, its just an effective way of playing the game.

Why do you whine pitifully about it so much? Create a private match, play by yourself since the rest of the gaming community apparently isn't up to your high lofty moral standards.

I didn't say take it out. I said rotate it so that people earn less. Two ways of doing it.

1) they statically rotate maps each week

2) they look at which maps were played the least and give them a bonus the following week and the maps played the most less.


You do realize neither of those suggestions would have any effect right? People don't play FBWGG because of XP they do it because of credits... and BioWare isn't going to make any map earn you extra credits. It's an easy mode, that's why people do it, even if it takes longer and even if they don't make as much as fast as other setups.

You want to nerf FBWGG... then set a hard spawn in the lower room when it's selected to Geth. That's how you get people to stop playing that setup.

the problem really is you playing publics, i have a maxed out friends list due to my group (in my sig, the image) who play every map in the game, very few of them farm (not that we haven't done it) it's just we're just as good on any map.
I assume the playstation has the lowest player base of all the platforms, so it's not exactly a problem for others as much as it is for ps3 users.
Or just people with no friends on their list (or maybe your friends only play fbwgg, in which case, get new friends.)
Have you tried making a post to recruit non-farming gold players? It works quite well...

The way to fix FBWGG is to add "not" check boxes to the search screen.   That way you could seach for any game that wasn't FBWGG and everyone would be happy.

they already buffed geth a couple patches ago.

geth is just as easy on any other map, if you use the same strats (spawnblocking, dead man alleys, infiltrators to hack the nodes etc..)

I know, that is what I mean, a credit bonus.

So maps that get played the least get a credit bonus (say 10-20%) and the ones played the most get less (equally by 10-20% or if BW is feeling cruel -50%) :lol:

I dont think they really can nerf it outside of just making geth ignore all decoys turrets and stuff that aren't players.

It would make sense, i mean they are geth, that kinda stuff shouldn't trick them.

So in otherwords, you want to completely break a gameplay mechanic (Decoy/turrent/sentry) so people are forced to play the game you like? Might as well get rid of that ability completely then.. I know, how about we get rid of the guns too, Guns are OP... Oh and Missiles, and Heavy melee.. Completely OP. Let's just spawn an die, yeah that'll be a fun game.

I don't get all the farming hate. ME3 is not an MMOG. If people want to do that, let them. Those are just players I don't have to deal with when I look for a random reaper or cerberus map.

As for geth, I just find them boring to fight. Adding incendiary grenades to pyros would be a start to make them more interesting. Or maybe give them an engineer unit with explosive drone.

Because EA/BW wont keep this microtransactions which allows for free stuff if it is all so easily obtained.
So I am suggesting making it harder- because I actually care about the game and MP longetivity.
