If you are using it because you want to be challenged that's fine. As been stated, it is a decent and underated rifle, BUT it is very far from...ridiculous as the OP stated. And really, using it on a GI with hunter mode ? Half the weapons in this game have the potential to appear decent on that specific class combo.

You could fire 4 times with the incisor in one cloak cycle and it still wouldn't do as much damage as the valiant.
And I'm sorry "people are cowards when it comes to recoil"? You do realize recoil is bad right? When you analyze and compare weapons, recoil goes under the weakness category.

The gun needs Stabilization Mod which is a big downside. Otherwise it does a great job at being a nice spray sniper and chews through most of the tougher mobs.
Nice change of pace from Shotgun Inf/Heavy Snip inf.

The Incisor X + AP Mod + Barrel Mod + stabilization III + Targeting VI/Sniper Amp III + AP Ammo + Infiltrator with the normal build = probably the most fun you're going to have with an infiltrator.
Trust me try that out and look at how fast **** dies if you aim for the head. Its actually on par with my BW II at times in taking things out.
