Just what? Have you seen the video? When i first used the Incisor I, I couldn't take out a bronze trooper with the clip. Now I can do gold with it quite easily.

Human Soldier with normal build + Geth SMG = Never reload, NEVER.

And these are proven and tested builds form the community and myself on gold.  its fun and something diffrent.

Most people who call the Incisor trash are basing their opinion off of the opinions of other players they've heard here on the forums. I haven't touched mine in a while, but that doesn't meant I'm going to call somebody names or berate them for using it. I can see you're using it well.

Yes indeed. I thought it was trash for the longest time. I see constant weapon buffs so i decided to try it out. Just wanted to spread the word that this weapon isn't as bad as previously thought.

I might give this a go actually. Tried Incisor X on my HI, didn't work out so great. My GI isn't specced quite right for it though....oh well, time to jump into silver once multiplayer is back up for me.

I know why, I know why!  Incisor X has a DPS of ~699, BW X has a DPS of ~643.  The only difference is, it's actually possible to hit things with the BW.

Neither weapon is all that great though, even the Arc Pistol I has a DPS of ~643.  AP X has a DPS of ~804.  The Hurricane is by far the quickest killer in the game though, having a DPS (keep in mind these are all "burst DPS" values, meaning that they are the damage per second not counting clip size, reload speed, etc...) of ~932 at Level 1, and 1165 at X.  Nothing else gets close. (Well, except for the AT-12 Raider on PC only [Might be added like the Indra recently was?] which has a Level X DPS of 2362 [Burst DPS obviously])

But yeah the Incisor is very fun to use. The only issue is the recoil and if you take all of that out of the equation with mods it becomes a ton of fun.

I sometimes run an Incisor on my Turian Soldier if I feel like doing something different. It's okay, but it's not my favorite.

Above the Viper though. Hate that thing with a passion.

Well of course!  As ineffective as it is compared to some of the other choices, there's no doubt that the Incisor is one of the most fun weapons to use, simply because of the way the gun handles.

No gun does 0 damage, therefore you can do gold with any gun in the game. That doesn't mean that every other sniper rifle (and possibly all other guns) aren't better then the Incisor.

Technically, you'd be able to do it on Bronze, assuming you hit with 10 shots without any additional damage modifiers, headshots included.  But, the Gold Assault Trooper has more than twice the damage, and since fully upgraded the Incisor doesn't do double damage, you'd have to hit with more bullets unless you really had the weapon doctored up.

So, it's either because you are using way, way more damage boosting abilities, or you were previously an awful shot, which is understandable with the Incisor.  Either way, glad you like the gun.  Lots of fun to use, but you've really got to build a character around the weapon for it to be extremely effective.

Hmm...I haven't tried this gun out after all the buffs for it came out. Seems rather decent for the higher fire rate snipers. Guess I should clean off all the dust and give it a shot.

You seem to be forgetting the Viper.  That gun HAS to have all possible weapon modifications to be effective, Incisor needs them, but not nearly as bad.  And of course, there's the Eagle too.

You're either trolling or a very proficient player if you can get through gold no problem with an incisor. Now grab a Valient, BW, or paladin and do 8x as much damage

personal preference and playing style the recoil from Incisor is quite bad, unless i go for body shots. i go for single shot snipers

I don't think this thread is about which SP is better, just saying it can play in this way. So stop telling OP to try Valient or BW that already be mentioned by many others.
