Yeah, I did Gold FBD/C/G on Xbox. I hate the recoil. It still messes me up. I miss the ME2 one, but to get it, you have to go with Marksman.Sacrificial Bias wrote...
I think the thing is that you really HAVE to use the thing differently compared to a Black Widow. For my BW III I find I don't go for headshots outside of a Geth Prime and the occasional elite mob that's standing still, mostly because it's unnecessary(1 cloak bodyshot kills a trash troop, 3 cloaked shots for elites).BoomDynamite wrote...
I tried it. It sucks. AND I was using the same mods as ^ and the same evos and equipment.
The thing is, attempting to mash the trigger as fast as you can will really screw up the shots in a big way. So I would expect maybe 2-3 cloaked shots max. The damage isn't half bad though. I realize Bronze is a bad example, though 2 cloaked shots will kill an elite, and the full clip takes out a Prime.
I'll have to try a FBWGG run to get a more accurate comparison, but I find I like the Incisor over the Raptor still. It's probably because I'm bad with a weak scope, but I end up getting more headshots with the Incisor over the Raptor.
Still, after watching the video, I can completely understand that this is still a crap weapon for PC users. Looks like the joystick has its merits:D.
Incisor X is ridiculous.

During that one Gold game, I was outscored by a Turian Sentinel with a Mattock + Carnifex and a QI with a Locust spamming Sabotage. Only person I outscored was the Asari Vanguard with a Predator X and Avenger X, and I still think she killed things faster.
Not bad in Bronze where things die before they can jump away, but not that great in Silver and Gold. You're basically attempting to use a scoped Tempest and trying to hold the crosshairs over the head of a moving target for 4-5 seconds.
Again, not an issue in Bronze as I can easily kill off a Geth Pyro with 2 headshot bursts. Though according to my math, my GI should be doing 2600 damage total with a single cloaked headshot burst, so the fact that it's taking 2 bursts would suggest that only 2 of the 3 shots are connecting with the head. On the Silver game I tried, I easily killed a Ravager with 1 clip and a Brute with 2, so I feel the damage is certainly there. The problem is that the recoil makes it a near impossibility to get all 3 shots to hit the head consistently. This ironically makes it more useless against non-boss mobs because A) anything other than headshots are useless and

Topping the charts does not mean you have contributed the most to the team... See techbursts, biotic explosions, and sabotouge backfires. It can mean that you have carryed the team, it could mean that you were a total beast that game. But it also, very likely could simply mean someone set you up or worked for you. Remember, Burst DPS is totally ideal for kill stealing, in which case you will simply get more points then MR Incisor because you shot last, not because you outperformed them in the slightest. In addition, that claymore is totally worthless fighting in any long distance, low death situation, that GI will drop like a fly without a cyclonic mod, and you are totally dependent on support when that tactical cloak wears off and you are reload canceling still.MR Incisor is that support. He is popping heads all around you to enable your magic little life to go on a little longer before you inevitalby flatline/BSOD due to a brute, banshee, or phantom seeing through your little guise.Regardless, if you have topped the charts at all on a game that was won, that is proof enough that the build you used was viable and at least rather good if not an OP minmaxed magickarp build.Valiants still loose to raptors, and Claymores still loose to Katanas, every, single, day. Basically, Let others builds be.Miriad wrote...There are exactly 0 viper infiltrators that will beat a GI shotgun (claymore) infiltrator. I always wonder where these people who say they're topping the charts with this build or that weapon are having when I'm playing, because I've not seen it happen, and am very doubtful that it could happen if you have decent players on the team with "the confirmed good" loadouts. People who "win" on gold by less than 10k usually use rockets to do it...
Your forum theorycraft is flawed. A claymore based GI is going to do more damage than one with a katana, hands down. The game is built around burst damage. The idea of that "sustained damage will somehow outdamage burst damage every single time" as you are inferring is flawed based on the reality of the duck and cover style game this is. Why do people complain about most AR builds? Because the sustained dps they represent is not possible in most situations. I'm not saying that a person that doesn't top the charts isn't contributing, but to say that a Turian soldier is somehow a utility class and is "saving your weak geth infiltrator while it is reload canceling" with your sustained damage from the Incisor is garbage forum logic.

What's with the talk about score now? I was top of the leaderboard for the three waves of the Cerberus video. And i was 2nd with the Geth video, and the other top guy had a widow and used missiles..
We all scored higher than the N7 3000 guy with the black widow. I did my contribution to the gold match and made my point that the gun isn't terrible as previously thought.
Actually you just illustrated how overpowered Hunter Mode and Tactical Cloak are together.

but again it's a UNCOMMON an not a rare or a N7 whereas it's better updated cousin the Indra is just coming into Xbox MP it has 25 rounds in store and revanate power and in cloak 7-8 shots will be empowers before cloak buff ends
most guns have a high up counter part in rare and N7 or mixed hybreds Indra will prob come in MP for all systems and be VERY useful much to ppls stupidity Indra usefullness is higher than the Rev xD and nobody knows it Incisor is a burst gun best for different uses of classes careful it won't be the top use gun though and the Raptor is a rapid semi auto with it's own awesomeness
I give all guns a chance this is my least fav cause it's handlign is harsh next to the striker

I used a bolt action for 15 prestiges and several hundred hours of gameplay. Same in battlefield 3. My post was a troll, but I'm just used to single shot snipers and I find it difficult to play with semi-auto/fully auto snipers
