Yes there is, and you're right, it shouldn't be necessary, but EA sucks.

The reason why there is no Live Chat button is because of your Region... Change it to US and it works:)

SimplyNeo's help was usefull, also I couldn't see the Live Chat button, you just change the language to English (us) and it's done.

I contacted them and had my commendation pack in no time, they were really helpfull and polite.

Yh I can confirm contacting using Live chat got me my commendation pack. Very quick and polite person on other end. I got a crusader 1, think its a shotgun, is it any good or just a meh item? Anyways also got some medi gel which i need so can't complain

Its an okay ranged shotgun that you will almost never use as Geth Plasma Shotgun totally rapes it unless you want to try something different
