Also for what it's worth, the following week has Dragon's Dogma, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Atelier Meruru (for those who still love their JRPGs, yes they're still around, albeit most of us, I mean, them won't admit it)

There's another atelier game out sooon? I wonder how the workshop will work, I wasn't keen on it in some of the newer ones.

Hmm, I was just able to play ME3 without needing to be offline, so I thought they had fixed it.

Back to the orginal topic, I probably will probably play both games for they both appeal to me in different ways.  In the long run though I don't think Diablo 3 will hold my interest as long as Diablo 2 did because something feels missing, like the complaints about Mass Effect 3.

If you find Diablo 3 is more enjoyable for you I am happy for you to find something you are liking, but I can't see that it will kill Mass Effect 3.

People spent years trying to get elite unique (super ultra mega rares) weapons on the cow level in diablo 2.

People spent years trying to get elite unique (super ultra mega rares) weapons on the cow level in diablo 2.

Not to mention the fact they are stripping content out of the game to be released as free DLC down the road and the Real Money Auction House that they take a portion of every sale.

Pfffft, so, you REALLY think people who play TPS-Action will switch to Action-RPG? So naive, sir, so naive.

Do you really think people only like 1 genre of a game?
If a game is fun, they will play it. And mass effect's multiplayer has run out of steam to keep players motivated to playing it. It's not exactly a pvp type of game where each match will always be different. And the endless character card system discourages players from playing even faster.

Bioware's work load is only going to pile up as they add more guns and content. As they can't even clean up the current bugs and have a hard enough time balancing the guns to give players an incentive to try something different. Perhaps we'll be back within a few years to see if anything has changed.

You do realize some people can afford a pc and a console right?
When given the choice between the two, there's no reason to buy a game for a system that has inferior hardware unless I wanted to play with friends.

My question is this: If some folks are so discontent with ME3MP, then why not just cut your losses and leave already? Why hang around MP forums and threaten to leave? Also, just because some folks state that ME3MP is dead, doesn't make it so. I know lots of people that play it and are still enjoying it regardless of what some nay-sayers would like you to believe.

Agreed.  Don't need the elitist, narrow-minded BS.

^Ever hear of vocal minority?  While many, including myself, are annoyed that these mistakes keep happening, most of us understand what's going on and have at least an ounce of maturity in their being.  Those that are going around causing **** on the forums are just doing it for the attention and to cause problems because they just want to move on, but can't because their mental process can't comprehend that they can just do so without causing a scene.

I will still soldier on in ME3 MP, Diablo never held my interests for long, and so I doubt I will purchase DIII.

No, Sidney, that's ME3 single-player you are talkin' about.

Diablo III is a game where you start at X with no loot and kill everything again and again collecting moar and moar loot, repeat ad infinitum.

Probably true in most cases. But not in all cases. You see, some few - perhaps very few, - are going "noisy" about all the problems not because they want attention or something like that, but because they care about the game and are trying to help. They are guided by simple logic: imagine someone made extremely badly crafted product (game, whatever), and is selling it in mass quantity, but noone complains. Noone says nothing about problems. It's just all silent. What are the chances problems will be fixed sooner rather than later in such a situation?

If there is a flaw in this logic, then please let me know what it is. If there is not, then please don't be so cathegorical in the future - and possibly, join the effort about letting the makers know about most important flaws of the created.
