I enjoy playing games that have the "Options" to interact with another,... What really made Mass Effect 3 a bit great was the way the characters reacted during certain missions and the way they would only have something to say like rarely.

I had a thought like Sims yes like that maybe more interactions would make it better in my opinion. I know not everyone has these kinds of ways they enjoy games but would it hurt to just have that in the game?

I know after certain missions you can talk with them but that is only what a little chat here and there 'And' that includes even if they want to talk to you, blah blah.. The main thing was bringing games over like I expected to have more of a connection chat with a past relationhip like Liara there is something there but it's dead in a way?

Well here's to hoping for something, maybe they will fill this gap with the 'Extended cut DLC' maybe not..

Discuss of how you feel about the interactions in the game and what you think should be enabled to interact with in game play, should the character be able to say something in battle not just the others you play with? Be open and friendly to your thoughts here! I am a gamer, but also have a creative mind to things beyond games.

:police: mind posts be mature about what you say.

The lack of dialogue in this game is appalling. I miss having actual conversations with my squad mates like in ME2. Then again, most of them were written off and I got stuck with...well, I'm just not happy with what I got stuck with.

And check my signature too. :)

I like that squaddies talk to each other more, and comment on what happened during missions, but I miss having more in depth conversations.

I think this is pretty much how I feel, I loved all the banter in the game, Tali drunk was hysterical especially if you go down to Javiks room afterwards . But i do miss having in depth conversations with the crew mates.

When Tali was drinking a toast to Miranda it was funny. They should of had more interactions to that kind of way, when their emotions showed it made it more seem to a real converse.

I thought that clicking on companions after missions to hear their thoughts on the missions was a lot better than "Can it wait a bit? I'm in the middle of some callibrations?" and "Now you're just pissing around" and whatever the other squaddies had to say

Absolutely not. The game was lacking in this area and I for one would like to see it improved!

I feel that the cinematic interactions were actually very good, they were often better than ME2. That said though, there was very little of them! I get bored very very quickly of watching my Shep speak auto-dialogue to the squad out of cinematics and they never have anything interesting to say. I did like the interactions between the squad mates but I don't think we should have gotten that in replacement of actually being to have in depth conversations.

I really hope some sort of dlc will come out adding more cinematic interactions, at least to fill in the huge hole between Tuchanka - Thessia.

I didn't like the way most of the dialogue played out in-game. From overly long auto-dialogued cut scenes to the click on a squadmate to hear what they thought after a mission, I was pretty let down. I guess in the beginning, I thought having an 'action' mode was a cool idea - allowing folks more into fighting to coast through the talking without much effort. I didn't expect to see that nearly all interactions would be reduced to either total autodialogue or mostly autodialogue with a couple of chances for my Shep to interject a thought or two - strictly as commentary and not as 'investigate' options - via the less-option dialogue wheel. FWIW, YMMV.

I was hoping for more banter among the squadmates and to be able to discuss other things outside the main quest with them.

Like Garrus, I too missed the elevator chats from ME1.

It was one of the things that i liked so much about Dragon Age: Origins.  The characters discussed previous missions and places they had been to, also they spoke to each other about their background, Alistair and his chaste upbringing was a common theme.

oh yeah, and in DA:O, my characters love life was something that the others characters enjoyed chatting about quite a bit.

Yeah in DA:O the interactions when going around and hearing them actually talk was something I really liked in the game I just wished that they would of done something like that in ME because walking around with team mates during a task or just around a place seems quite odd out of the bunch not to talk or say something.

I know in other terms if that was me standing there with others I would at least talk to keep the awkward silence never come up moments.

There definitely should have been more.

Ambient auto-dialogue is a poor substitute. Actually, it isn't even a substitute as far as I'm concerned.
