They listen in the same way I listen to thunder. I don't actually do anything about it.

the fact that they don't instantly respond and don't agree with everything said and don't do everything that is asked of them does not mean they are doing nothing.

The chances are they are reviewing what is being said but are not responding because of one of a number of reasons such as
1) they don't agree (and do not want to expose themselves to the hostility they would get if they said no)
2) they do not know how to respond yet and are investigating/considering/debating among themselves..
3) they are planning a big reveal but are not yet ready (the extended cut could be such a reveal and they are deliberately avoiding spoilers for what is in it until after it is released - they also want to see fan reaction to it and see how that affects opinions)

Knowles left while they were still brainstorming ideas for Da2, thats not respectable.

Why not? He saw where things were going then and  simply went, "I'm out, guys" because he knew it wasn't for him. Would it have been better for him to half-ass it through the rest of the project when it clearly didn't interest him? Are you saying it's better to have people working on a game that have no passion for it and that they should simply stick with it and stay the course because they worked on the original one?

Discussing things with someone with "BSN Loyalist" and "BioWare Before Dishonor" in their sig might be a waste of time.

Awesome comment :D

Generally, I don't feel the need to attack people for what they say in their signature - I feel that if that's how low you're sinking, then you've completely lost the debate and are just lashing out at anything to try and score cheap points.

However, since you want to go there.... discussing things with someone who is clearly implying homosexuality is not "SaNe" in their sig, might be a waste of time.

Let he who is without homophobia cast the first stone, shall we?

The character import issue was a wild card and bioware can't really be held responsible for that...mass effect has used 3 different engines to date since the start of the series.

Evidence that they've used anything other than Unreal Engine 3?

Strawgrasping, Jeru. In addition to wild asumptions on your parts. The fact that you even brought homophobia into the debate tells me you're the one with a beef against peoples relations to sexuality, not to mention you are just begging for the thread to get locked with posts like that.

Really, get over yourself cause you are so far out of both line and touch with that post that you aren't even funny.

Your sig is correct, though. Shepard deserves a better fan than you in this regard.

Nope, neither strawgrasping, nor wild assumptions, nor am I the one against homosexuality. 0 for 3 there, big guy. Hey, you're the one who brought attacking people due to their signatures to the forefront, I was simply going by the logical implications in yours. The fact that you think homosexuality isn't "SaNe", and the fact that you're STILL using that as your sig LONG after BioWare said they weren't going to "rewrite" anyone's sexuality preeeeeeeeetty much prove where you stand.

Making up facts now? It does say "no rewriting of sexual orientation" after the "support sane sex" part. That says nothing about not liking homosexuality.

It says he's uncomfortable with people evolving in their sexual orientation, that going from straight to gay over the course of events, or meeting the right person is not "SaNe". That says a lot about not liking homosexuality, that if you're straight ever in your life, you need to be straight FOR life.

Because... he's talking about Mass Effect? He started using that as his signature right after BioWare announced that there would be homosexual romances in ME3?

Seriously, it's cute that you like defending homophobia, but just to give you the benefit of the doubt: Please point out, to me, an exclusively gay love interest in any BioWare game (now now, naming Cortez and Traynor would be cheating, just so we're clear).

Seriously just stop it, accusing people of being homophobes won't get you anywhere, it just makes you look like an idiot

Doesn't matter when he started using that sig or that he is posting right now in Mass Effect forum.
Maybe he is not even talking about Bioware game or any game at all. Maybe about some book.
You can't be sure in this case so stop assuming.

Given that your only contribution has been to attack people over their signatures... yeah, I don't actually care what you think. Come back when you don't just go after strawmen like that, thanks.

There's a difference between "assuming" and "logical deduction". He's using that signature while posting on a BioWare forum. Ergo, LOGICALLY he's against BioWare "rewriting" characters sexuality.

Not to mention, if you're so against people having to defend their signatures, you may want to point that out to him - I never questioned his signature until he attacked someone else for what they had in theirs.

Rewriting a characters sexuality is generally not a good thing to do. I thought that they did a pretty good job with Kaidan

There was dialogue cut (and in some instances, not cut as cleanly as it should have been - Kaiden still sometimes comes across as very flirty with male Sheps) in ME1 that would have allowed both Ashley and Kaiden to be same sex romances. So in ANY case, it would not have been "rewriting", it would have been "restoring".

If they had decided to make Garrus homosexual or bisexual they would have rewritten the character. Alot of people wanted him as a same sex romance and imho it would have been a bad rewrite and out of character

So, you don't believe that someone's feelings and opinions can evolve over time? That if you feel one way, you're never allowed to change for the rest of your life? You need to be static and unchanging forever?

Because that seems more out of character to me than someone who can change.

Character development > No character development.

I'm almost starting to feel sorry for you Jeru.

You're starting to show off as being desperate in your attempts to troll and flamebait by now.

First your attempt at derailing the tsunami thread with the weakest attempt I've ever seen, and now this...

You're running out of ideas or something?

You're blatantly ignoring what people are actually writing and instead make up stuff inyour ownhead and make random wild claims out from the hallucinations in your head.

Seriously... Take a rest and come back when you've cleared your head some...
