I am interested but not enough to sub. Maybe if it was F2P.

I participated in the previous beta, can't say I was impressed though It's like playing Skyrim online which isn't necessarily a bad thing but still...It's a decent game but not worth the monthly sub for me...I have more fun playing Skyrim anyway.

It's kinda like playing Skyrim online, only you have less freedom in creating your own playstyle, the combat is less reactive, and the graphics are worse.

I don't know, bobobo, I played base Skyrim and the graphics in ESO look better to my eyes than unmodded Skyrim. *shrug*

The lighting system and shadows are better, but Skyrim models have a lot more polygons. Also the character models for many of the Altmer, Bosmer and Orc NPCs remind me a little too much of LOTR elves or humans with pointy ears, rather than the Elder Scrolls races in Skyrim, which have a more compelling and savage appearance.

They had to keep the polygon count very low of course, for stability when there are so many models onscreen at once. Overall it is a lot of fun, and once you get past the starter areas, if you want to explore the world, it does feel like a bit like playing co-op Skyrim with friends, which is a compliment IMO.

That should be the tagline for The Elder Scrolls Online.

Was just playing the Beta, its supposed to end tonight(though they might extend it, who knows).

30-50 people in my server on a beach half naked dancing, throwing magic around, shaking, doing push ups, while horses, cats, lizards, and other various creatures just stand there

There were lulz

Beta just ended. No lulz like yours, but still a lot of players running naked around. I hope i get my pre-order in time for early access.

Basically people claimed we were all on skooma, that it was the biggest slap in the face to Molag Bal ever, uncle Sheo was laughing, and chat was filled with many a raunchy subject

So if you want to play as an Imperial...... you have to pay extra.

and if you want a horse you can either grind.... or pay extra.

The Imperial isn't news, thats old. The horse micro transaction is new, I think.

Eh, ESO is gonna have problems I think. This last beta weekend was weird. Freaking every other quest I tried to complete I couldn't because bosses failed to spawn or characters weren't where they should've been.

The bosses not spawning glitch has been around for at least the last 3 betas. It got so bad that I stopped playing it as I couldn't progress any farther due to bosses not spawning.

I had so much hope for when the game was first announced. Now I'm just playing Final Fantasy XIV.

Ahh, the only weekend I got to play it was this last one.

I was only level 6 and was gonna try teaming up with three folks to tackle that one dungeon, you know the one. We kept getting real close, and then one of the dudes I was playing with basically felt so bad for the sake of my character's armor(or rather, lack thereof), that he went out on his own, bought my character armor with his own money, brought it back and handed it to me. We still got whooped.

Still though, its not often gamers are nice so that was a pleasant surprise. hahaha

I was in 3 of the tests and I think I reached level 11 or 12. At that level I got crushed by just about everything except the enemies at Kenarthi's Roost.

I had to take on enemies 1v1 or I would get smoked, it was baaad, hahaha. If I wasn't careful a mudcrab could kick my ass, I think they were level 8?

Were you playing archery based? I figured out that if you chose the Nightblade class and used the Assassin's Blade, you could spam it while blocking. My usual tactic was to sneak, fire an arrow and when the thing would charge I would block and spam the blade as much as possible and fire off a few knockback arrows if needed.

I was archery based, yeah. And was playing a Nightblade. Basically, a Bosmer Nightblade Archer. :P

We could have played together. I was a Nightblade Khajiit Archer.

I loved how all the Altmer hated me for being a cat but I was working for the Queen.

They were easier on me even though I played one of the smaller elves. :P

I always play as a Khajiit. I am no furry but they are more unique compared to the other races IMHO.
