I always play as a Khajiit. I am no furry but they are more unique compared to the other races IMHO.
The dude that went out of his way to get my character some armor was playing a khajiit.
Good kitty, that one.

After playing 3 betas for ESO, I found that 7 out of 10 players used Khajiits.

I noticed an even split between the usual Aldmeri Dominion races this last weekend.
For the 20 minutes I played as a Pact, There were only Argonians. Nobody else, just lizards everywhere.

Iguanas, Iguanas everywhere
I didn't play as the Convenient but I would guess it would be dominated by black people.
Covenant. rofl

Black people with big teeth. Orks everywhere:D
I thought there would be Redguards everywhere.
In previous beta i've seen a lot of orks. But i did not adventure too far from start city.
In last beta i played with a DragonKnight Imperial(obviously
) for Pact and a bit with Dominion altmer sorcerer from older betas.
Didn't decide yet with what fraction i will go, but definitely with a DragonKnight. I want to make a dual-wield Battlemage. I think the dunmer is best race for this kind of kit.
The Imperial isn't news, thats old. The horse micro transaction is new, I think.
Eh, ESO is gonna have problems I think. This last beta weekend was weird. Freaking every other quest I tried to complete I couldn't because bosses failed to spawn or characters weren't where they should've been.
I'm pretty sure this had something to do with so many people trying to do quests at the same time. I heard that several times and it made since to me since when I went to the second zone (Stormhaven) where there were far less people, I encountered zero bugs or stability issues. But, yeah, Zenimax better start burning the midnight oil if they want a smooth launch.
Did I read right that you have 41,000+ posts? I don't think I've made 41,000 internet posts in my entire life ... and I'm older than the Internet ![]()

My response to a similar post earlier today-
To the first point, that I did
To the second, the BSN didn't let your normal forumite know how many posts they made, though I believe moderators and devs knew. I was around since pre-BSN, but once BSN came around there were quite a few major events that I had a huge part in. DAO/ME2/DA2/ME3 discussion as far as Bioware games went, Bioware's many "issues" in that time frame, MLP:FiM exploding into mass popularity, this very RWBY thread, the relatively new Frozen thread, etc etc
There was a lot to talk about.
Had some fun with the most recent ESO Beta Weekend (which was my first.)
I made two videos. One is the funny shenanigans people got up to during the last 25 minutes of the Beta. I cut it down to 3 minutes of the silliest stuff:
ESO Players Celebrate the Beta ending - Silly Fun: https://www.youtube....h?v=gNatjAUrHTs
And in the other video, I show some of the gameplay, and share some of my thoughts (I apologize for the terrible sound mix, I forgot to turn the game sound down while recording.)
Gameplay and some impressions from the last beta Weekend: https://www.youtube....h?v=SWNdydt0s5c
(The sound mix isn't great, sorry.)

General Impressions:
The Good:
- I love the character creation screen, and the customization options.
- I think I'll really like the changes to the crafting system, once I've experimented some more.
- It looks much better than I expected.
- With some exceptions, everything seemed stable, and the gameworld appears to be in good condition.
- The combat is fun, and I look forward to seeing more, with other classes and weapons.
The Bad:
- There needs to be more tutorial content to explain some of the game mechanics, and crafting and such (and the bank, especially! I would have loved to have known about the bank on the first day.) The books are helpful, but there are a lot of little details that are easy to miss.
- It's a bit bare bones. There aren't a lot of quests per area. It's possible the Beta didn't have all the content for each area turned on, but otherwise, it only takes a few hours to clear one of the towns of available missions.
- The economy is pretty rough... I think items should sell for about 300 - 400 % more than they currently do, but I suppose as I learn money-making tricks, I might change my mind.
- I think I'd definitely like it to be easier to unlock the different crafting styles, but there may have been a way that I just missed, myself.
The Bugs:
- The starting tutorial gave me framerate problems, but I'm on a laptop, so no big surprise. It was a huge difference from the normal gameworld, though... I think the flame effects, in particular, were hard on my processor.
- There were many missions that were broken for everyone, but I'm sure these have been detailed and passed on.
- I have a few screenshots of some harmless graphics bugs, but I haven't found the folder they're in, yet! xD

Seems like all the threads have died down though.
No offence to people that really want ESO, I would be way happier with TES: VI. I just like playing SP when it comes to RPGs like TES.

I agree with you. I won't be subscribing. It's not because I don't think ESO is good, it's just that I paid $60 for Skyrim and enjoyed 350 hours of gameplay over the course of 2 years.
To accomplish the same thing with ESO would cost me $420. For $420, ESO would have to shoot rainbows at me while I play, that fix problems in my life! xD

Yeah. I agree with you. ESO is great but if it is F2P the amount of trolls and brats will increase by 150%. If it stays P2P then it will not be P2W and there will not be near as many trolls and brats but it will cost an arm and a leg.
Don't get me wrong. I was in 3 of the tests and it was pretty good. The bugs were annoying though and due to the lack of quests, would block me from doing anything but chatting. The only thing I don't like is the archery and sneak. With the current skill sets there is no reason to even attempt sneak because you can't truly sneak up and snipe guys like in the normal TESs. Although the dual-wield combat I thought was better in some ways compared to Skyrim as you can block.
The character creation system was absolutely great. It was not confusing one bit and all the changes were noticeable. If they just added a few new hair styles and beards it would be spot-on for me. I mean seriously, I can be a fat Khajiit or a skinny Nord. The individuality between characters is exactly what I would want in any MMO.
I was proud of my little Wood Elf. hahaha

Why be a Bilbo Baggins wannabe when you can be a cat?
She was a girl so no Bilbo tho
Edit- Jesus Christ half of that statement I just made was in Sontaran

I saw this guy that called himself "Bilbo Swaggins".
Everyone and I mean everyone uses female characters in TES for some reason. I even do it and I have no idea why.

I only participated in the last one, but I definitely enjoyed it.
I noticed that sneaking wasn't useful for combat, only to avoid enemies completely... at least, it seemed that way to me. That having been said, my character had a "cloaking" spell that also served as a setup for another spell that stunned characters if you used while under cloak - sort of a "sneak attack" system, so maybe they'll expand on that.

I used sneak for the place you start and I found it only hindered my speed as I still got detected at the same distances if I wasn't sneaking. I didn't perk into the cloak spells as they are not useful for archery based builds IMO. I spec'd more into the Assassination perks as the Assassin's Blade was very useful to me and I used it frequently.
The only thing gameplay-wise that I have issues with is the lack of distance bows can be used and crafting.
Crafting is very confusing for me and took me 2 beta tests to figure out somewhat. And the amount of XP garnered from crafting/extracting is very low making it even more of a grind compared to Skyrim's crafting which was more to-the-point for me. Skyrim's crafting was indeed a grind as well but it is easier to get around this by creating certain items and selling those items. I actually used grinding smithing to grind enchanting as after I had produced at least 400 daggers of various materials, I enchanted all of them with my enormous collection of soul gems.

I was frustrated by the crafting, as well. I figured it out during the weekend, but was never able to really make anything that I wanted - my tiny amount of resources was consumed by the experimentation necessary to figure out what I was doing.
I sort of understand why they've made it harder. If it was as easy as it was in Skyrim, it would be a simple exploit for becoming rich, and levelling up. The way they've designed it, it's impossible to make money from crafting (which I'm okay with, if they're that concerned about the economy.) But it shouldn't be so difficult to make a piece of armour that I want - it's pretty integral to an FRP to let me do that, so I think they need to free up some resources for improving crafting, and making it more friendly for new players (I mention that in the video, actually, it was the first major issue I had with the game.)

Later towards the end of my 2nd test I was able to craft some medium rawhide armor but due to my low level in crafting, it was easily outperformed by some armor I later found.
Enchanting is still difficult to understand. Most of the enchants I can't even use so I just sold the glyphs as they seem more like paperweights than tools for crafting.
Skyrim's crafting, if mastered early on, made obtaining armor much easier. But, unlike Oblivion, higher level armor is much harder to find. By the end of Oblivion, I had collected 6 sets of Daedric Armor and I later found more. I found only 1 set in Skyrim that was pre-enchanted so I had no use for it as comparing to the enchants I could make where much more powerful. I do like the ability to improve weapons as in Oblivion, I went through swords like batteries while in Skyrim, I just improved my swords and didn't constantly swap them. To my memory, the first character I ran through Skyrim used the Blades Sword until I got an Ebony Sword at about level 40. The weapon/armor improving system in ESO will most likely be a "Pay to make your swords better!" system as I only got 3 of the focusing crystals over 3 betas. That led to a 40% chance of not destroying the item you want improved.
That system makes no sense as I am not going to risk breaking my unique sword just for 2 more DMG points.
Eep!
I never even reached the point where I knew what focusing crystals are!
I found the dwarven oil, and tannens, which I assume are the heavy and light armour equivalents, each providing a 20% chance for improvement.
I never used them, of course, figuring I'd wait until I had 5. And something I really wanted to improve. If I ever subscribe to the game, it probably won't be until after they've tweaked crafting, at least a little.
