Actually it looks better than I had feared, even hoped.
Man the gameplay was done on Hero Engine (same as TOR's) and looks much better. The engine won't be used in the final game btw.

I mean really, though....
Bethesda games are always riddled with so many bugs, that I can't even imagine playing their games without modding and the console commands being available.
Since ESO is going to be a prequel set in the second era, there's still hope of seeing another stand alone SP Elder Scrolls. I'm still hoping for another elven province like Morrowind for the setting. Maybe Summerset Isle or Valenwood?

You simply can't QA test a massive open world singleplayer game with 550 locations, thousands of NPCs, hundreds of quests, etc., the way you can QA test a 10-20 hour linear game with lots of cut scenes. They could have a staff of hundreds testing Skyrim for years and still never find every possible glitch in the game.
In my case, I didn't experience any bugs or glitches with Skyrim other than some textures turning purple after a long gaming session due to my VRAM buffer getting filled. The purple texture issue was fixed with Patch 1.2 back in November or December of last year. The game has been completely stable since that time. As for Fallout 3 and Oblivion, I didn't experience any crashes or glitches at all with the vanilla versions of the game. Only had crashes after installing lots of mods.
At any rate, Bethesda Game Studios is not developing the Elder Scrolls Online. It's an entirely different team, and it will be tested the same way every AAA MMO is tested, with very lengthy beta periods, with thousands of end users helping to test everything.

It's the complete opposite for me. I've must have hit every single game breaking bug and glitch in Skyrim before I even began modding it . First I had my favorites tab locked, preventing me from casting shouts or quick swapping weapons. Then, all my gold and special gear completely vanish during the Thalmor Embassy quest. Alduin wouldn't spawn during the intro, so my character got trapped on the execution block. The shadows wouldn't display properly after installing patch 1.5 and would flash like crazy whenever my character approached them. Every single book I placed on the Riften home bookself got deleted from the game.
And this is only naming a few...

Seriously, I'd almost have to say glitches are an essential element of the Elder Scrolls experience - they're that deeply entwined in the games.
As for the MMO footage - meh.

I hope they still continue to make SP games....I hate MMO's.
Zenimax Online is making the MMO I assume Bethesda Softworks is going to keep making DLC and SP games.
Theres a strong chance that they may switch their support towards MMOs.
I can really remember an SP game that got an MMO and ever got another SP game, besides that Star Trek one, but the MMO for that game went FTP, so i imagine that it wasn't gonna do much for them.
This, on the other hand, is TES, therefore, it could be highly succesful

Oh come on you can't really believe that? How many copies of Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim and *shudders* Fallout 3 have been sold? Enough to keep Bethesda Softworks I would assume.

Edit: is it a rule all mmo's have to look like they were designed by Disney?

Possibly, but we don't know how successful this MMO will be.

I just don't see Bethesda removing anyone that is important to the Elder Scrolls franchise.
